“Just had lunch at James Ranch a HUGE shout out to Grant!! Being a restaurant owner we're always "watching " employees. Great hire on him very well mannered ( yes ma'am and yes sir) I know personally good employees are hard to find and he's a good one!! The food was outstanding!! Highly recommend this place. “I started eating here few years back when I had no washer/Dryer...was okay but nothing really caught my taste buds..and got washer and dryer since then..but recently met my niece/boyfriend for BF..
Omg!! My favorite is the Bacon Potatoes etc burrito 🌯!!! Along with Mountain Mango 🥭 😋..
Went 2x within 3weeks because that Burrito is excellent and cooked properly each time I've ordered it..
The Ridge has become a favorite and back on the list

“The soft tacos and quesadillas are absolutely fantastic, and the margaritas are top-notch! They use a homemade lime mix, not an overly sweet premade one, which makes all the difference. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I’m so glad we discovered this place—it’s definitely going to be a regular spot for us!“

“Everything is delicious, but the Kathmandu Sekuwa is out of this world. I've been working my way through the menu to find what dish is responsible for that irresponsible aroma wafting into the streets. It's the Kathmandu Sekuwa, and it tastes as good as it smells. Excellent food, wonderful service and atmosphere. Highly recommend.“

“We drove pass Durango and found this place, the steak is really good, I guess Colorado mountains area is just expensive since they have a lot of tourism all years round, we didn’t have reservation but was seated quickly. The waitress even brought my dog some water. Great experience!“

“Pet Peeve: when people speak in superlatives (especially as a former English teacher). That being said… my wife and I just shared the Beersalmic Chicken Melt; and it was the BEST sandwich I’ve ever had in my entire life. It left me speechless… which is one hell of an accomplishment! The Copper Cabra (Moscow Mule) was also fantastic. Last, but certainly not least… the service was top notch!! 10/10!! You won’t regret it!!!“

“We split the El Moro Burger and fries and we asked for the burger to be cooked medium. The burger was a little undercooked. The burger was seasoned nicely. The fries were done well ahead of the burger and they were barely lukewarm. We received excellent service from the two young gals working the tables in the bar area. We walked 4 blocks from our hotel to the restaurant. I didn’t see their own parking lot.
Note:
1. They automatically add a 20% tip to the bill. We almost always tip 20% for descent service. The servers missed out on a higher tip because I was taken back by their policy.
2. I ordered a Sprite and got a refill. I was not told there is no free refills and I did not see this on the menu. I was charge $8 for two Sprites. This added to me not leaving a larger tip. The servers lose out because of questionable policies.
3. I evaluated the food, service and atmosphere on their own merits and these issues did not impact the rating I gave.“

“Very flavorful Mexican cuisine and great service. We stopped at Nayarit Restaurant while traveling, so we aren't locals and didn't know what to expect. The Mahi tacos were fabulous, as was the pablano meal. Service was friendly and quick. The restaurant is located at an end of a strip mall, so is somewhat basic, but it was clean and had some interesting artwork on the walls and some patio seating. We will return when back in Durango.“

“I didnt assign 5 stars for the food. Pak Kee Mow Beef was great. But I love Thai black rice/custard, I was disappointed that it was over heated and not served with coconut cream on top, just some coconut flakes. The combo of the sweet/salt creme is what makes it so delicious with the nutty flavor of the black rice and egg custard combination.“

“What an awesome spot to stop and eat! We were visiting for Labor Day weekend and happened to pass by while exploring downtown with our dogs. We decided to grab dinner here and were so glad we did. The food was excellent, we loved the chowder and Sockeye BLT. A bit random but the Ranch was exceptional, like really truly good. Our server Lanie (I hope I spelled that right! Call me out if I didn’t) was great as well, very friendly and attentive. We will 100% be coming here on our next visit!“
