“This middle eastern/ Mediterranean restaurant offers variety of fresh ingredient food. We got AMAZING Rucola salad, it has nutty flavors with pickled grapes!
For the main course we got grilled trout, and roasted chicken!!! Both great, flavorful, not dry juicy and well cooked!
For dessert Pavlova!
I will definitely go back on my next telluride trip!
This restaurant is small so i recommend reserve before your visit.“

“Great happy hour! I stopped in for the late night happy hour on a Friday night and was able to get a table right away. The service was quick and attentive.

I ordered the katso chicken sandwich and a wasabi Caesar. Both were amazing and priced very reasonably.

The cocktail menu looked interesting although I did not partake in it.

Be aware that half of the dining area and the bar are down a flight of stairs in case there is anyone in your party who has walking issues.“

“We visited Telluride in January. Brown Dog is not ordinary pizza. It was extraordinary-I’m completely ruined for pizza anywhere else! We’ve talked about this place countless times since our visit 8.5 months ago. The service was great (I believe our waitress was named Becca) and out of allll the great places we visited in Telluride and Mountain Village, this was the place we’re still talking about. Highly, highly recommend! I don’t know if I’ll ever get back to Telluride, but if I do, you’ll find me at Brown Dog Pizza!“

“We visited the Floradora Saloon after a long day of chasing fall colors. Turned out to be a great choice. Our party of 3 all had the filet, mashed potatoes and asparagus. Every element of the meal was spectacular. Our server, Austin, was personable and attentive and went the extra mile to take care of us. “In a town of mediocre food & service this was a hidden gem. Cosy restaurant in The Hotel Telluride. Our party of 6 ate here 4 times & all were excellent. Guiseppe was a great host & always managed to find us a table when we arrived without a reservation. Service was quick & he was friendly & attentive. The special of the petit fillet with mash potatoes & asparagus plus a glass of wine for $26 was exceptional value. Dessert was very good as well. They even dropped us home afterwards in their hotel courtesy vehicle. Nice atmosphere in hotel lobby for a pre or after dinner drink in front of the fire. 1 night they had a live guitarist which was very nice. Can't fault the food or service. Would definitely eat here again“

“My spouse and I are both vegan and this was the best breakfast in Telluride for vegans.

They have three main options: avocado toast, veggie hash bowl and vegan crunch bowl. Two sides: berries and English muffin (no butter).

The avocado toast and veggie hash bowl are both okay. The veggie hash bowl is pre made and no changes can be made - I only say this because my partner and I wanted more potatoes in the hash. The hash is surprisingly potato light. The avocado toast needs something else - maybe some cherry tomatoes and olive oil? It was bland. Both options don’t have a lot of vegan protein. It would be so great if they offered a side of black beans or some vegan protein side (tofu). These options left us hungry later.

Now the greats: the vegan granola bar and vegan crunch bowl are both perfect! They are tasty AND have protein. They sustain you and are so enjoyable. We were suspicious on the granola bar but it was so good I didn’t get any pictures- we ate it quickly.

The berries and English muffin were both fresh and delicious - no notes!

For a small town and the amount of options, this is a great vegan breakfast option.

Of course, they also offer lattes with alternative milk.

We came here 3 of the 4 mornings we spent in Telluride. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We will be back!“

“We are visiting for the TFF and staying in the plaza. We arrived for dinner on Sunday (8/31) around 6:15 and seated immediately. While it seemed rushed at first we understood there was only staff seating and serving. We had a light Oder of a pizza and antipasti…both of which were very good. Yes, there were minor faux pas but overall the staff did a really good job. I understand quality staff is hard to find…. But the few moving and grooving tonight did a GREAT job and the food was great and we had a wonderful experience…and I hope the managers see this and commend the staff this evening.“

“Darius was awesome. Highly recommend the lamb chops, had them along with a glass of blanc for the wife and Darius made an amaretto sour that was amazing. Dinner menu was a bit different than what was presented on the website but the quality of what we ordered made up for it 10 fold.“
