“This place is 5 stars from start to finish. Walking in, the atmosphere and vibes are immaculate with a really cool interior and two bars both with different but fun settings. The service was great, despite our server having 2 large parties the whole time we were there. However, the food is by far the best part. Not one bad thing was ordered. The edamame was the tastiest I’ve ever had, such a delicious sauce on there with a little kick. The fried chicken rice was unique and flavorful and moist. The brisket ramen dish was incredible and full of flavor with the broth being one of the best parts. Finally, the key lime pie with berry compote was perfection. 10/10 wish I could eat this every day. No notes“

“I really wanted to like the National more than I did. Great menu, ratings, and we went out of our way to squeeze in for a meal. But just not what I was hoping for. It’s all good, but was expecting more. More flavor, more unique tastes, more impressive presentation. The olive oil martini was a highlight for me. I only show the gnocchi in pictures, but tried 3-5 apps and some squid ink pasta. You can do a lot worse, but I was hoping for so much better.“

“In a town of mediocre food & service this was a hidden gem. Cosy restaurant in The Hotel Telluride. Our party of 6 ate here 4 times & all were excellent. Guiseppe was a great host & always managed to find us a table when we arrived without a reservation. Service was quick & he was friendly & attentive. The special of the petit fillet with mash potatoes & asparagus plus a glass of wine for $26 was exceptional value. Dessert was very good as well. They even dropped us home afterwards in their hotel courtesy vehicle. Nice atmosphere in hotel lobby for a pre or after dinner drink in front of the fire. 1 night they had a live guitarist which was very nice. Can't fault the food or service. “It’s rare that my partner and I go out in Telluride or Mountain Village. We both work in the area and decided to take a half day to spend the afternoon together. Given the unusual but beautiful March weather, we decided on Tomboy Tavern so we could sit outside and enjoy the sun. The hostess met us promptly with a smile and sat us right away. Our server Liam was superb. My first drink choice was out of stock, so Liam accommodated by choosing the perfect flavor profiles I was looking for. We were just here to enjoy a drink and light snack, yet were met with professionalism and kindness. Liam made us feel just as important as any other guest spending much more than us. We’re glad there are still local places that accommodate everyone and make us feel welcome as locals. Thanks you guys!“
