“Great experience here, I went here when I was camping in the Mesa Verde National Park. I had tried to make reservations, but everyone I did the phone was busy and I could never get through to anyone, and reservations are *highly* recommended at this place. I decided to just go and try my luck, being only a party of one I can get in anywhere most of the time! That was the case with this place as well, other people were told they'd need to wait unit 9pm ( I was there at 7pm). They did warn me that I might have to wait a bit for service because there was only one waiter for the entire half of the restaurant that I was in. My waiter was named Brian and he did a fantastic job despite having way too many tables to serve. Now onto the food, the food was great, I had the soup of the day which was beef with green chilies, the braised short ribs, and the lemon tres leche cake. The soup was really well rounded with a great heat to it and the beef was super tender, it had potatoes and celery in it as well. The braised short ribs were tender and amazing, it came with smashed potatoes, and asparagus which were both also seasoned really nicely. The tres leche cake was fantastic, it was nicely sweet, but not too sweet to drown out the flavor of the lemon.“
