“This restaurant(s) is so unique and incredibly sophisticated no matter what venue you are looking for this is the place! The atmosphere is awesome due to the incredible décor, large screen, a multitude of different type of seating, large TV’s located all around the bar! The service and restaurant is second to none! The bartenders are so professional and friendly. Believe it or not we were actually asked if we were satisfied with our drinks! We were politely and professionally served our many food and drink selections! When our pizza slices were served, my mouth dropped, because I have never seen slices of pizza so huge! I have not had a slice of pizza that was so good with just the right amount of tasty toppings on mine! We ordered chicken wings, half naked and half buffalo wing sauce. The chicken wings had been fried to perfection and was so good we could not make up our minds which type of chicken wings was the best, so we called it a pleasingly tie!“

“I come here every single year on the same day for my first date anniversary! They've even accomodated our whole family on our wedding day at their other location! I've always loved them since they first opened. The service & ambiance is always top notch. Their Vietnamese coffee is tasty, with a mix of spices! One of my fave coffees in Denver.

I do think expanding to 3 locations after all this time has maybe created a level of quality control that can't be helped.

Unfortunately, it's hard to come as often now because the food has changed significantly since the beginning. The menu itself hasn't changed, so we order the same things almost every time. Their congee which used to be balanced & complex is now heavily salted/inedible (we bring it home & make a huge pot with it and still can't reduce all the salt.) Their duck fried rice is mainly oil now, and the rice soaks it in, becoming soggy. This has been the case the last few times we've stopped by or brought friends.

Their chilaquiles is still consistently enjoyable, alongside the breakfast burrito. It's just a shame a lot of the Asian brunch items that made them a standout before are no longer good.

We'll still come every year, same as always since it has such a big piece of our hearts, and hopefully the food will get back on track someday.“

“Visited Denver in September and found Sam’s across the road from our hotel. We had breakfast every day as the menu was massive as were the portions. The service was friendly and efficient. I even came home with a baseball cap in the colours of my local soccer team 😂 Loved Denver and loved Sam’s“

Their breakfast sandwich was phenomenal, they offered a banana chocolate chip scone that was excellent and they have an “over night oat” oat meal that blew me away. Wonderful atmosphere, super friendly staff, I wish we had a place like that back home! Port side is five star.“

“Very casual environment. Breakfast was very good. Our waiter was very friendly and professional and was very attentive to our needs. I had the Belgian waffle with Virginia ham and it was cooked perfectly. The wife had the Denver omelet and she loved it. The veggies were even sautéed and mixed in with the egg, and most places don't do that. They even gave her a choice of cheese to put with it. Will definitely be going back for breakfast, and maybe try the lunch one day. There are also plenty options for meals for breakfast and lunch.“

“I have been going there for over 40 years. It is one of the best family restaurants in the neighborhood. My favorites are the Greek Chicken and Mexican Hamburger wings. The service is very personal; they all know you by name, and hugs are a delight. The owners are the best and treat you like you are part of the family. Every holiday, the decorations are professionally set up making the atmosphere calming and enjoyable to look at. They are big supporters of the Girl Scouts. Portions are huge, I ordered a sandwich with a soup and side salad and ended up taking the entire sandwich home. It was delicious as dinner later that night!“

I stopped by First Watch for a takeout breakfast and was so impressed. I ordered the Morning Meditation juice — orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave, and beet — and it was absolutely beautiful (so delicious I forgot to take a photo before drinking half of it!).

I also had the Elevated Egg Sandwich (minus the bacon) and loved how fresh and satisfying it was. I almost ordered the Floridian French Toast too — that’s definitely happening next time!

The restaurant was clean, organized, and had such a calm morning vibe. Jasmine was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and made everything easy.

My family and I flew in from Houston for a Thanksgiving week getaway, and after hearing great things about The Original, we decided to try it out. Let me just say—we were not disappointed!

Our server, Ray D., was absolutely outstanding. He was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. The food was phenomenal—everything came out fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared.

Ray D. truly made our dining experience memorable, and we highly recommend him and this restaurant to anyone visiting Denver. If you’re looking for great service and amazing food, this is the place to be. Five stars from me and my family“

“One of the best breakfasts I've ever had, and absolutely the best omlette I've enjoyed. My wife and I shared a few cocktails, including their pride month offering. I stared with the spicy egg salad on crispy potato because the menu said "everyone needs at least one," and I try to be a rule follower. It was a good first bite, but not the best part of the meal. My wife had the chicken sandwich, which was a special menu item. It was fantastic (I had a bite). For me though, the omlette was the star of the meal. the eggs were fluffy and cooked perfectly. The sauce was a nice complement to the eggs and beet cured salmon, separately, and also as a composed bite. The real treat, however, was the spring peas (not pictured) on the inside. We'll return next time we are in Denver, and reluctantly, I'll try something else from the menu. I should add that our sever was fantastic, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the wall of sauces is a little overwhelming, but in a good way. My favorite was the Colfax Killer. I really enjoyed it on my wife's fries and the greens that were on the side of my dish.“

We ordered the very berry French toast which my kid didn’t like because it was smothered in what looked like an artificial berry syrup, the “toast” themselves, small and thin. The country benedict was small portioned. I felt there was more hollandaise sauce in it than eggs and hash browns and was hungry after. The lobster omelette was meh. Food came fast and we did receive excellent service from Alex, so would consider going back if we’re in the area, but food and portions need a rehaul.“
