“First time by here on our way back from a hike from the south. Really cool spot in a neat and historic building too. Seating in and out that are both dog friendly is a perk. We enjoyed a few beers on the patio. I started with a flight and then had a brown ale, while my wife liked her two brown ales. The white stout was interesting, but I'm not sure I could've drunken a whole pint. The barrel aged stout was good but strong, and the amber was ok too. We'll go back again and maybe sit inside next time.”

“Absolutely INCREDIBLE. I am picky. I love EVERYTHING about this place! The lady who runs it is just awesome. Very clean, neat and nice atmosphere to stop in to eat alone for a quick lunch. The carrot cake muffins--- OH MY!!!! Italian cream soda ✔️✔️. Lunch was a turkey, bacon, ? sandwich---EXCELLENT! Everything is fresh made, no packaged food. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

“This gas station Chicken shack has quite the reputation for good fried chicken. It did not disappoint. I had the jambalaya for a side ithat was surprisingly good. Throw out any notions of gas station garbage on rollers or microwaved junk. This is actually quite good. Not really anywhere to sit, although they have a long table with chairs that are not in use. I met the cook not only was he very helpful, it was quite clear he really enjoyed making good food. While I do not see any James Beard awards in the near future for these guys, if you're on the highway and want a quick bite to eat this actually good, this is the stop”

“I’ve been through the drive through a handful of times but had a chance to sit in and do some work for several hours. Right away Paisley was really nice saying it’s ok that I leave some stuff at the table while I go to the bathroom as she was about to leave. The MOD (manager on duty) Trish was very friendly and such a hard worker and very communicative with her colleagues and the customers and very polite. Auggie was my cashier and was very kind and a good kid and was also working very hard! The place is really nice and clean and every worker I’ve met has been nice I have no complaints. Trish’s words of encouragement and compliments to her coworkers creates a very nice environment and very motherly. I will definitely be back in again! Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: They’re VERY understanding and are careful if you have dietary restrictions or allergies. For I’m lactose intolerant and I’ve been trying to stay away from dairy due to health reasons.”

“Franktown McDonald's is in its own world the service food are amazing the best in the state they never mess up your order and the food is fresh and the ice cream machine is cleaned daily so they always have ice cream”
