“Stopped in at Coffee House on Main Street during my cross-country bike ride, and I’m so glad I did. My gears had broken earlier in the day, and by the time I rolled into town, this was the only spot still open in the afternoon. Not only did they have exactly what I needed—good coffee, food, and a place to recharge—but the two people working went above and beyond. They were genuinely interested in my ride, super accommodating, and just great conversationalists. “A close friend recommended we try STMD when we visited Elizabeth, CO. We were blown away by the sumptuously airy, creamy-tasting inner cake and the delicate outer crust. They serve locally roasted coffee, which was the perfect complement to the sweetness of the donuts. The staff was very friendly, and you can see the donuts are FRESH, because they're fried right up front—no second-rate pre-made backroom donuts here. Run, do not walk, to Small Town Mini Donuts. They are worth driving all the way from Eldridge, Iowa, to enjoy.“

“This Starbucks inside the Elizabeth Safeway is such a hidden gem. The atmosphere is warm, clean, and welcoming, and the staff is always friendly, patient, and genuinely kind. They consistently make great drinks and provide excellent customer service, even during busy times.

I especially love that there are a few small tables where you can sit down, relax, catch up on work, or just enjoy a quiet moment with a delicious coffee. It’s the perfect little community coffee spot.

The floral section nearby also adds such a beautiful touch to the environment and makes the whole area feel cozy and inviting. Whether you’re stopping in for your morning coffee or spending a little extra time working or visiting with friends, this Starbucks is always a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!“

“The owner, the ladies who work there, and the ladies next door at the antique shop, are the kindest and most loving women I have met on my travels. I am truly grateful to have had the opportunity to meet them and I am thankful that I wandered in there when I did. I look forward to going back in 2 weeks so that I can tell them of my journey, and receive there kindness once again. They are all a blessing and I wish them nothing but happiness and love. O! “I gotta say… I’m only out east of Parker because I’m Petsitting for a family out here, and I needed some coffee but didn’t want to drive 20+ minutes to get some. This small family owned? Shop, is absolutely the best! I purely believe it’s better than Dutch bros and Starbucks! Got my first coffee yesterday and today I got a coffee and a smoothie and they are both phenomenal. Understanding their hours are not long, so if you work overnights, probably something you’d have to wait until the end of your shift for, however, I will be back the next time I petsit out here! Best coffee in the world!“
