“This was my second visit here and I forgot that you only get 2 thin slices of sausages included in your boil. So if you like sausages , I advise you to order extra. Also, the potatoes were firmer than I like and can be cooked a little longer Aside from that the flavor was amazing and the crab legs were succulent.“

“Seafood restaurant known for oysters in downtown Denver. We came for a birthday celebration and the oysters were a hit(so much so I didn’t get a photo). I think that was the highlight of our food experience.
For appetizers, we got multiple different types of oysters as well as calamari. I was not a huge fan of the calamari. It was lots of oily breading, but the dipping sauce was good.
For drinks, we tried some wine pairings as well as the happy hour. Would highly recommend coming for happy hour for some cheaper oysters and drinks.
For mains, we had multiple people get the crab stuffed cod, this I was also a fan of the crab was delicious. One person also ordered the scallops and they said they were perfectly cooked.
This place was expensive and I personally didn’t think the main dishes werent worth the price, but the oysters definitely were.“

“'Twas good, fyi no more fish plank night on Monday. We had them $5 meat pies instead. The steak and potato and ground beef were good, the pork was a solid sausage patty that needed the curry sauce. The fries are excellent and they have curry and/ or malt vinegar.

Corn hole out back on the patio and a toddler play pen. Breezy views of Sloans' Lake with dogs made it a very nice date night.“

“I moved out of the area and hadn’t been to Yabby Hut in a few years, but I recently had the chance to stop in, and I’m so glad I did. I’ve always said this is the best Cajun and seafood boil restaurant in the Denver area, but somehow it was even better than I remembered. The Yabby Cajun was absolutely incredible.

We also tried a few other menu items, including some fried appetizers and the gumbo. Everything was excellent. The fried food was perfectly crispy without being greasy, and the gumbo had a green pepper-forward flavor that I really enjoyed.

Seafood prices have gone up everywhere, and Yabby Hut is no exception, but I appreciate that they post market prices around the restaurant so you can make informed choices. They’ve also done a great job offering a range of seafood options at different price points, making it easy to find something that fits your budget.

“Great variety of seafood here and the most reasonably priced I can find for snow crab legs. I'm not a huge fan of the butter seasoning, as it doesn't taste much like real butter so I usually opt to order takeout of the plain boiled crab legs and melt my own lemon butter to dip the crab meat in.
