We came in late night and grabbed a dozen oysters, and honestly, the price was great for a late-night spot. The oysters were fresh, and it’s a perfect place if you’re looking for good seafood without feeling like you’re breaking the bank.

Gordon was amazing — super charismatic, welcoming, and really made the experience even better. The atmosphere is another major plus. They had a great mix of hip-hop and eclectic music playing, which gave the place a fun, energetic feel without being overwhelming.

Definitely a spot I’d recommend for late-night oysters, drinks, good music, and a laid-back atmosphere. Great food, great prices, great energy — and Gordon is the man! 🍸🦪“

“It was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. The service was unbelievable. Gus was our waiter and I don't think I could thank him enough for this amazing visit. I brought my family in to eat.. it was our first time eating some of the delicious seafood they offer and Gus went over the whole appetizers and dinner and how to completely enjoy every bite!! “The waitstaff, Stephanie, and her managers went above and beyond to make our dinner the most special dinner we've ever experienced. We planned a trip to Kauai, a once in a lifetime type trip, only to have to cancel due to Hurricane Lowell that belted the island in September 2026 and left many resorts unable to accommodate upcoming guests. So, we pivoted and chose to spend our anniversary and my birthday celebration at The Capital Grille in Denver. After telling Stephanie and her managers about our once in a lifetime vacation that ended up getting canceled, they put their creative minds together and made our night so special, beyond our expectations. They made us each a creative tropical cocktail, they made us a wine cork lei, and they made us a special anniversary and birthday dessert. We felt like royalty while we were there. We love this restaurant and their staff and plan to come back again and again. Thank you for making us feel so special!“

“6/27/26… Stopped by Crab & Shell Cajun Seafood while visiting Denver and got a seafood boil and a drink. As someone from Louisiana, I’m usually pretty skeptical about Cajun seafood outside of Louisiana, but I was pleasantly surprised! The seafood was actually really good and had good flavor.

Customer service was good and the older gentleman that sat next to me was nice; I learned a lot from him! Definitely worth checking out if you’re craving a seafood boil while in Denver. I’d come back again when I’m in the area! 🦀🦐“

“I'm so sad it took me so long to find this gem. I work past most places closing time - so getting home, too exhausted to make food, this is a godsend for me. I have eaten here 3 days in a row! The tacos are incredibly fresh (shout out to the pastor... so good.) The tortillas are fluffy and tasty, the burritos are huge and they're very accommodating to my sensitivity to cilantro and onions. Their green chile is delicious, just not the style I'm into. Open Thursday through Saturday during the summer only, Choza serves up incredibly fresh and flavorful seafood with a rotating menu that keeps things interesting every visit.

The patio is where you want to be—great vibes, friendly service, and a perfect spot for warm evenings. You can order Choza items inside 3 Margaritas, but the full experience is definitely out on the patio.

No reservations, so show up early and be ready to relax. Highly recommend for seafood lovers or anyone looking for a unique summer dining experience close to Denver!
