“We went for lunch or the first time today and had the amazing lunch. We eachhad the lunch special, which includes a specialty Pizza and a salad of your choice for starting at $14.50. I had the funguy Pizza, which is a Mushroom Pizza. It was absolutely amazing. I ordered mine without arugula , as I do not perfer that. It was so good that I ordered a full size to take home for dinner. Our server was Jordan and she was awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The only downside I have to say is that their drinks were just okay. We had a Italian spritzer that was kind of tart, and then I ordered a Vodka martini, which they said they do not commonly make, and I could tell why... I sent it back and ended up getting a glass of red wine but the pinot noir was mediocre at best. I think management should up their Wine selection and quality, if they're going to pair with Italian dishes. I would definitely go back and order more Pizza and the meatballs look amazing as well.“

“I grew up in Chicago - north side on true Chicago pizza - thin crust, lots of cheese and meat and cut in squares. Jimano’s is the real deal. Best pizza I have had since I don’t know when. Been searching for a place like this for decades. Two minor differences from the north side pizza of my childhood- the crust was oh so slightly thinner and crispier and the sausage grease wasn’t dripping off each slice - both pluses in my mind. Folks in the service industry could take a lesson or two in friendly and helpful behind the counter customer service from the two gents working and baking. The atmosphere is walk up to counter and 4 small square tables for dining but we were the only ones eating in and had a grand old time eating way too much pizza.“

We got the 16 inch and I asked if we could pay an up charge for the huge box for my neurodiverse child to collect as she likes to keep unusual or unusual sized food containers. “Fast and friendly service. Their thin crust is traditional Chicago style tavern pizza. Very flavorful sauce, crispy crust and plenty of cheese and fresh toppings. Being from Chicago it’s great to have a place that tastes like home.
Their deep dish was a bit disappointing. Very thin compared to the real deep dish I’m used to - maybe an inch thick and inside sunken into the crust, when real deep dish is ~3 inch casserole-like that you gotta eat with a knife and fork. But the flavor was totally on point. Will definitely be coming here often.“
