On the phone manager was very apathetic and refused to make it right. He kept talking over me, even in person, and when I called him out on it he told me literally verbatim that I was a liar. Drove over to the store, returned the cold pizza and got a proper hot pizza with a side of attitude. For a $25 pizza, it should be received hot or replaced.“

“I have never been here to eat because of my disability. However, the pizza in my opinion is the BEST! The sauce was excellent, nice amount of cheese, pepperoni was savory, and most importantly, the pizza was fresh. Even for a delivered meal, pizza was hot, fresh, and just magnificent. Wooow!

“This is some of the best pizza I've had in the Westminster/Broomfield area. I was hesitant to try it because I like more adventurous pizza toppings and most of their specialty pizzas are fairly basic.

We ended up ordering The Sizzler and adding ricotta cheese to it. They might not have crazy toppings, but this is some delicious pizza. It's a perfect NY style pizza. We'll definitely be back!“

We arrived at Double D's Sourdough Pizzeria & Taphouse about an hour and a half before closing tonight, and they did not disappoint! Both the pizzas and the salad were absolutely delicious and fresh. Even better than the food was the outstanding customer service—the waitresses were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and awesome. We had a large party (44 people) and they recommended that we hold our event in the heated patio area for more privacy which was a great call. Our amazing servers Julie and Ilona are top notch and didn’t miss a beat. From helping us set up/decorate the tables to taking our orders to promptly serving/clearing dishes after each course to ensuring that no one waited for beverages, their service was flawless! And the food! Everyone raved about how delicious each dish was. I forgot to take photos of all my dishes but included a few to show how beautiful/tasty they look/are! We had a large, family dinner here (30+ people), and I cannot recommend this place enough!! The food is absolutely amazing (why we chose it in the first place!), and the staff are wonderful.

We had a large, hungry crowd, and Proto’s went above and beyond in making the night perfect. Chuck personally went above and beyond in making the night perfect, and we cannot be more grateful. He personally put together our tables beforehand and added a beautiful extra touch of wrapped utensils, menus at each seat, and glass olive oil bottles. It really helped set the atmosphere for the entire night, and I truly appreciated such special touches.

As a former waitress and bartender, I cannot recommend this place enough. The time, attention, and energy the team will put into your visit here are unparalleled. I personally know how difficult it can be to serve a large, excited group, but the Proto’s staff took it in stride! Every team member worked together exceptionally well, and took the time to share tasks, take on additional responsibilities, etc so the night ran as smoothly as possible. I know this team can handle anything!!
