“Dropped by while on an incredibly long road trip, place seems to have changed it's name to El J's which I was confused on at first. Got the lengua burrito and The Munchies Burrito. Munchie burrito was a solid 10/10 with a good amount of fillings and absolutely delicious Chile Relleno and Shrimp, green and red sauces complimented the burrito well. lengua burrito was a 9/10 but didn't come with much in terms of fillings, make sure if you are ordering a non specialty burrito you specify if you want beans rice cheese etc as they don't come with them by default.“

“Recently moved to GJ and was having a hard time finding a Good Mexican food place. Either the food is sub par or the price is ridiculously expensive and portions are tiny. But this place has it all. I’m so glad I stopped to try this place. I ordered 2 different kinds of burritos and my total was 12$. He handed me the bag and it probably weighed 5-6lbs. The burritos were huge. 1 is a meal. And the taste was great. Nice and fresh tasting meat and veggies. And the place has a drive thru and is clean and modern for indoor dining as well. I won’t be going anywhere else for mex from now on.“

“Stopped in to just get some cheap tacos, because while Taco Party is good they’re hella expensive. Found this place and me and a friend went in and there wasn’t many people , we ordered our food and it was out in less than 3 minutes no joke. Food was amazing, tacos were filling and price was good at about 3.50 per taco I would say. If you haven’t tried it I would definitely check it out!“

“Went in on burrito day 2026, and while the food was still good there were some minor setbacks. Upon arrival storefront glass was dirty and so were tables. When ordering the brown rice was extremely over cooked and came out in clumps and balls, so ordered white rice instead which I normally avoid. Was out of my go to surf and turf protien options and out of ice. While I know that burrito day is a busy day for staff I think there should be an incentive for staff to focus on product quality and store cleanliness still on this busy day. Also the guy cashing me out was somewhat rude. All in all still 5 stars cause every other time has been great but fell short on this busy day. This and the Rimrock location are hands down way better than the Clifton location which is why it is still a 5 star review.“

“Breakfast burritos were ok. Honestly I did enjoy the tortilla but the flavor was just ok. Bacon was soft and pretty much raw (to be fair I like crispy bacon and should have specified). It felt like something I could easily make at home.
Will try again for a different menu, seems like the food could’ve been really good, maybe breakfast just isn’t their thing.“

They are the epitome of comfort food with generous portions, excellent service and a spotlessly clean dining area. They also have a fun food bar area where you can slather your meal with various temperatures of peppers and sauces.
Their horchata is divine as are the other traditional, Mexican drinks.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating of special orders and there's plenty of room for small families and larger groups.
The burritos, especially the carne asada, are so big, you need both hands to hold on to hold on to it!
Our family eats there, whenever we are in town, and will continue to do so as they have been the epitome of excellence for many years.“

“This place caught me by surprise!! I was surprised to see a bibimbap bowl on the same menu as a chimichurri burrito but if you see this truck LET IT BE A SIGN! The steak bibimbap bowl is full of farm fresh veg and is so delicious all the way through, so well balanced and amazing flavors with the kimchi sauce and pickled veg. This will be a truck I look for every time I pass through fruita. The owner is also SO nice!!! 10/10 I’ll be back for you Dango Street Food.“

I have used this Qdoba as a caterer for business lunches for about a year and have ordered from them dozens of times. They are always deliver an excellent product with top-tier service.

“I love Taco John's! The food is not necessarily the healthiest however, it is decadent comfort food that I partake upon whenever I'm celebrating or sad.
The services always exceptional, the restaurant is spotlessly clean and the staff is extremely friendly.
They're very accommodating in making items with them without extra salt or sauce. I've never once been questioned about how I want my order and it's always created to perfection.
A taco burger and the the potato oles are my absolute favorites.
The potatoes are so yummy, you don't need any ketchup, however nacho cheese or sour cream compliments them perfectly.
