“I’m not one to review. I always forget but holy moly this place is amazing! The food is beyond amazing. I ordered the grilled kielbasa with sauerkraut and fried potatoes on one occasion, which was off the charts! The Bavarian pretzel yes I know it’s just a Bavarian pretzel, but not this one and not the cream cheese garlic dip it comes with holy Mary mother of God. It is amazing. I will never look at beer cheese, the same again after having this,.I hate to keep using that word, but it is nothing short of amazing!! then the burgers, the burgers are just seasoned perfectly and I just can’t stress how good this food is at this establishment if you’re ever off of Broadway and Maple stop in you will not be disappointed!!“

“It’s a friendly neighborhood bar“

“we were in the area for a mini vacation (my sister and i). initially we were walking to the brunch nearby but as we were passing by, we changed our minds and went in. after seeing the cowboys game on, we sat down near the TV it was on. I asked if it was possible to change the TV behind my sister as well since we will be sitting across from one another. it was playing the Olympics races and nobody was watching (1 booth other than us and 4 people bar top). after it was changed, we ordered our food and drinks. a kitchen staff joked about the cowboys with friendly bantar before returning to the kitchen. shortly after, the general manager (I was unaware at the time) came from the kitchen and changed it again. I said excuse me several times to him and got 0 acknowledgement. the bartender shrugged his shoulders and looked away from me. I spoke to Anthony as there wasn't much time left on the game. Anthony attempted to talk to him and he said there were people watching the game. the game which was not put on until AFTER we requested the change. while I'm not one to sweat small stuff, I work in customer service and with 6 mins left on a preseason game, what's the harm? at least acknowledge me when I speak to you. let's come to an agreement. instead, I turned my chair around and waited to eat the appetizers sitting behind me on the table until the game was over (a whopping 4 mins) I don't get time to catch many games, was on vacation and wasn't being rude about it. i love sports and trust, I would've been stoked to catch the baseball game he changed it to AFTER the football game. and I would've been the only customer paying attention then too. so finally I was loud and thanked Anthony for his friendly demeanor and caring about his customers. I said it very loudly since I could not get acknowledgement when speaking politely and directly to him. what do ya know? now we hear me in the kitchen and have plenty to say. with music playing and food being prepared no less! I enjoyed the food. probably the best wings I've had in ages! the beer cheese soup was delicious. I enjoyed our waiter's customer care. without him, we would've walked out. food is top notch. caring about customers, not entirely priority. we don't visit often so it isn't a huge loss that we won't be returning because of one person. Definitely ask for Anthony if you do go!“

He told us, in no uncertain terms, that he really appreciated the fact we showed no anti-Asian hatred. I can’t even imagine as such. “We have been coming here for almost 5 years and we can’t rave more about the food and service! The staff is always attentive, kind and friendly. We had an uncomfortable situation recently. we have two kids under 4. We recently were there when a guy was very vocal about being frustrated that a family was at a bar. Tara immediately jumped in to educate him that yes it’s a bar but also a family restaurant. They are always accommodating and make us feel comfortable. This place has amazing service, food, staff and is a staple in our neighborhood.“

I especially love going there on Thursday and Friday nights for karaoke and every other Tuesday for open Mic night! the staff is fabulous, drinks are fair-priced, enclosed patio, upfront parking for bikes. “Was looking for a new burger place and struck gold on this one! Diverse menu with excellent burger choices. I had a burger with jalapeno cream cheese, a sweet fruit glaze and fresh whole jalapenos. Great flavors and the tater tots were enhanced with what appeared to be a corn flake like batter! Service and atmosphere perfect for pub style food. Would highly recommend this place!“

“TEN STARS! Had our wedding there Memorial Day weekend. Can't speak highly enough of Scott, Steve and Kris. Scott was there the actual night of and made it the best night of our lives. Great venue, AMAZING FOOD, almost 40 beer on tap, and great atmosphere. Had a very large wedding, the buffets went so smoothly. They just have everything set up perfectly and have their focus on the fun parts of a wedding. Would do ten times over and recommend to anyone. Also- tap room and restaurant in general has amazing food, service and drink. Patio is beautiful and so and nice and they have live music sometimes.“

“Dive Bar Alert!
Probably THE most dive bar I've found in Denver in a while. The wings are GOOD! Lots of flavor variations. Fries were perfectly crispy! The onion rings were huge! We were a party of 15 and our server was awesome. Even for how busy the place was the food came out in acceptable amount of time. When we first arrived, there was no seating available but we were slowly able to take over 3 tall tables. All the other patrons were nice and talkative and let us know they were about to leave so we could take their table.

You want beer, wings, and foodball? This is your spot. We will go back!“

“The only criticism I have is quit calling your appetizer jalapeno queso and guacamole! It is not queso! It is spicy or jalapeno pimento cheese. It is very good but most people will expect it to be served hot!“

“By far one of the coolest bars in Denver. It is a bit off the beaten path, so I actually stumbled upon it just walking through the Cap Hill neighborhood. The theme, decor and overall vibe is hell-a neat. They also serve the most delicious seltzer. Even if you don't like seltzers, try their seltzer. The bar is both indoor and outdoor. There is something for everyone here. Unless you are super easily offended about artistic liberties on religious memorabilia.“
