“Mausam completely won us over. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, welcoming, and genuinely comfy. The food was incredible across the board. The lamb chop starter was absolutely delicious, the chai was on point, and both the garlic naan and the chile-and-herb naan our server suggested were the best I’ve ever tasted. Every main dish was deeply flavorful, perfectly spiced, and full of complexity.

What truly set the night apart was the service. Akshit was quite literally one of the best servers we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Knowledgeable, warm, friendly, and attentive in all the right ways. He anticipated every need, offered great recommendations (including for our celebratory whisky), and was just an all-around generous soul. The pacing of the meal was perfect: never rushed, always thoughtful. We even ended the evening with an extra round of drinks after we’d already paid the bill simply because we were enjoying ourselves so much. “We came for dinner one night while in town. I had the California burrito, she just had the spicy white queso and chips. She really enjoyed the queso, it was very thick. The burrito was good and a large portion. Seemed like a typical tex-mex place, which I could tell from the menu and is ok with me. Friendly and helpful service. We also ordered margaritas. One large and one smaller. They were good, although I didn't feel like I'd had much tequila after finishing the large.“

I also had a strawberry margarita. Dinner came with chips & the most awesome salsa ever! Rosa was my waitress. She gave me great suggestions & the service was awesome. She was attentive & very sweet. He welcomed us from the kitchen and told us to sit wherever we like. After we ordered, the food came out quickly and we ate it just as fast! It was so good that we came here two mornings in a row! We had the breakfast burrito and chocolate pancakes. It wasn't busy, and we snagged a close parking spot. Will be going back every time we are in Manitou Springs!“
