“we were in the area for a mini vacation (my sister and i). initially we were walking to the brunch nearby but as we were passing by, we changed our minds and went in. after seeing the cowboys game on, we sat down near the TV it was on. I asked if it was possible to change the TV behind my sister as well since we will be sitting across from one another. it was playing the Olympics races and nobody was watching (1 booth other than us and 4 people bar top). after it was changed, we ordered our food and drinks. a kitchen staff joked about the cowboys with friendly bantar before returning to the kitchen. shortly after, the general manager (I was unaware at the time) came from the kitchen and changed it again. I said excuse me several times to him and got 0 acknowledgement. the bartender shrugged his shoulders and looked away from me. I spoke to Anthony as there wasn't much time left on the game. Anthony attempted to talk to him and he said there were people watching the game. the game which was not put on until AFTER we requested the change. while I'm not one to sweat small stuff, I work in customer service and with 6 mins left on a preseason game, what's the harm? at least acknowledge me when I speak to you. let's come to an agreement. instead, I turned my chair around and waited to eat the appetizers sitting behind me on the table until the game was over (a whopping 4 mins) I don't get time to catch many games, was on vacation and wasn't being rude about it. i love sports and trust, I would've been stoked to catch the baseball game he changed it to AFTER the football game. and I would've been the only customer paying attention then too. so finally I was loud and thanked Anthony for his friendly demeanor and caring about his customers. I said it very loudly since I could not get acknowledgement when speaking politely and directly to him. what do ya know? now we hear me in the kitchen and have plenty to say. with music playing and food being prepared no less! I enjoyed the food. probably the best wings I've had in ages! the beer cheese soup was delicious. I enjoyed our waiter's customer care. without him, we would've walked out. food is top notch. caring about customers, not entirely priority. we don't visit often so it isn't a huge loss that we won't be returning because of one person. Definitely ask for Anthony if you do go!“

“Good people at this bar. This friendly guy named Chan, bought us two old white guys a round because we genuinely liked him. He told us, in no uncertain terms, that he really appreciated the fact we showed no anti-Asian hatred. I can’t even imagine as such. “I’m not one to review. I always forget but holy moly this place is amazing! The food is beyond amazing. I ordered the grilled kielbasa with sauerkraut and fried potatoes on one occasion, which was off the charts! The Bavarian pretzel yes I know it’s just a Bavarian pretzel, but not this one and not the cream cheese garlic dip it comes with holy Mary mother of God. It is amazing. I will never look at beer cheese, the same again after having this,.I hate to keep using that word, but it is nothing short of amazing!! then the burgers, the burgers are just seasoned perfectly and I just can’t stress how good this food is at this establishment if you’re ever off of Broadway and Maple stop in you will not be disappointed!!“

“We have been coming here for almost 5 years and we can’t rave more about the food and service! The staff is always attentive, kind and friendly. We had an uncomfortable situation recently. we have two kids under 4. We recently were there when a guy was very vocal about being frustrated that a family was at a bar. Tara immediately jumped in to educate him that yes it’s a bar but also a family restaurant. They are always accommodating and make us feel comfortable. This place has amazing service, food, staff and is a staple in our neighborhood.“

“Nachos are large and plentiful. Food overall good 👍. Great atmosphere though it could use something to reduce sound reflections as it is hard to hear conversations at table. kareoke was fun and sound system definitely made me sound better than most other places...only caveat it is a bit too loud as with some high pitch singers, the high pitch can be ear hurting. Otherwise great sounding system if just turned down just a bit. Service seemed short staffed with only one waitress for as full and busy as it was on St. Pats Day“

“TEN STARS! Had our wedding there Memorial Day weekend. Can't speak highly enough of Scott, Steve and Kris. Scott was there the actual night of and made it the best night of our lives. Great venue, AMAZING FOOD, almost 40 beer on tap, and great atmosphere. Had a very large wedding, the buffets went so smoothly. They just have everything set up perfectly and have their focus on the fun parts of a wedding. Would do ten times over and recommend to anyone. Also- tap room and restaurant in general has amazing food, service and drink. Patio is beautiful and so and nice and they have live music sometimes.“

“Scooters Sports Bar & Grill is seriously one of my favorite spots to go to. The food is always fire, the drinks are good, and the atmosphere is just fun every time. You can tell Lindsay and Brandon really care about the place and the people that come in. They’ve built something that feels welcoming the second you walk through the door.

What makes Scooters different is the people behind it. Lindsay and Brandon are genuinely good people and always make everyone feel taken care of. It’s hard to find a bar now that still has that real laid back, hometown vibe, but this place definitely does.

“Love this bar! Karaoke is great on Wednesdays and Saturdays! The food is great! Love the staff! This is a go to spot for my friends and I every weekend! It can get packed so get there early if you want a table! With the construction going on, the best parking you can get will be the parking lots behind the building on the south side or the lot on the east. “What are the odds that we visit from Iowa on business and our waitress, Allison also is from Iowa! She was absolutely wonderful, funny and so attentive! The food was wonderful, very large portions, appropriately priced and tasted delicious. The view was really good despite the smoke fading out the mountains. The ViewHouse was such a wonderful and fun atmosphere, highly recommend!“

“I did not have any food, but did stop in for drinks. Our group happened to attend when a DJ was performing, and it was AWESOME! The rooftop was packed, but I was still able to get drinks from both bars (upstairs and downstairs) quickly. Props to those bar tenders. If I'm ever in the area again, I will 100% be checking this place out again. Also a bonus that it's right next door to Summit Music. There happened to be a dance party hosted that night, so the whole block was buzzing. 11/10 - definitely recommend.“
