“If you care about Belgian-style beer, Bruz is the best place in Colorado. Les Incompetents is a standout — layered, balanced, and the kind of beer that makes you slow down and pay attention instead of just drinking it—and reminds me of French dishes. The barrel-aged quad is the other one to chase: rich, warming, and complex without ever getting cloying. Both are worth going out of your way for.

The people are just as good as the beer. Kristin was clearly slammed the last time I was in and still managed to be gracious and on top of everything — no small feat. She and Carl (and the other staff, I would list them but I don’t. Know their names 😅 Yea) were also the ones who filled me in on the 10th anniversary, which I would have completely missed otherwise. That kind of hospitality is what turns a good taproom into a regular haunt.

I’ve been coming here often enough to say this with confidence: I have never had a bad food truck at Bruz. Not once. Whoever’s booking them deserves praise.

“Uncle Henry’s continues to fire on all cylinders, maintaining its place as the best fresh, authentic Szechuan/fresh roasted duck & pork Restaurant in the north suburban area. Every dish we’ve tried for more than a year has been richly flavored, well executed, and served at an ideal temperature. The husband & wife team who run the place are gifted chefs, as well as friendly, helpful, and very hard working, as is the rest of the small staff. This storefront restaurant has now become solidly and regularly very busy, which it well deserves. Try it, and try multiple dishes on and off the menu. These folks are running a top small restaurant, and their success is based on all the right things. Kudos to the Westminster Uncle Henry’s!“

“We rented the upstairs space and patio for a wedding rehearsal dinner and we were extremely pleased with the food, service and attention we received. The mangers, Jackie and John, were very helpful picking a menu that would serve 75 people. Our guests were very complimentary of Hannah and Alexis for being so cheerful and helpful at the bar and for making sure all the food was ordered and presented in a quick and timely manner. We go at least a couple times a month! For a recent Christmas get together, Shawn and the staff were able to get our party of 20 in and all seated. Of course, we love the arcade as well!“

“The food here is excellent, the service is not. We arrived at 8:07 am and the door was locked (it says open at 8 am on their door). They made us wait until 8:20 am to unlock the door- I changed their open time on Google Maps to reflect this. The woman did not apologize and complained to us. We did not get our food until 8:45 am and we were the only ones there!! I can’t imagine if 5 or so people were in line with us.

Food-wise, this place is excellent. The best new breakfast burrito I’ve had in several months, which is saying a lot. I usually like more green chile but the flavor of the cheese, egg, and bacon absolutely carried the burrito.

“Tried Las Tortas 2 for the first time and ordered the ‘Tejana torta’ ($12.86 before tax) —and honestly, I went in without really knowing what a torta was. Pleasant surprise! The sandwich was loaded with fillings and a very good portion size. It felt perfect as a breakfast-style sandwich, and honestly, one torta can easily be shared between two people for a full meal.

We didn’t sit inside because the music was extremely loud, almost ear-bursting. This isn’t a gourmet sit-down restaurant anyway—it’s more of a small, local takeout spot with a few chairs and tables, focused on food rather than ambiance.

The menu has tons of options, which is great, but it can be a bit overwhelming if you don’t already know what everything is or what to order.

Overall, this is an amazing local torta spot with great value and generous portions.

“Awesome winery with most of their wines made from grapes grown right here in Colorado. Ask about the wine club. It has some great discounts, plus you get a bottle and a tasting each month.

The wines are all priced well and organized into tiers (basic, premium, etc.). I’ve been to a handful of wineries around Colorado, and overall, Kingman checks a lot of boxes!

Fries were hot and crispy and stayed crispy all the way home. Still crispy. They are not Colorado green chili fries fyi. This is chopped roasted fresh New Mexico green chile. Delicious! Just don’t forget to tell him it’s Togo if you don’t plan to eat at the picnic tables. I forgot and that was my bad. But he boxed it all up for me straight away. Flavors were authentic. “I planned an 80th birthday party for my husband at GVR Beer Garden with the help of Soleil, the Manager and Josiah, the Regional Manager. I was so impressed and grateful for their "can do" attitude and for how easy they made it to plan the set up, food and drinks options for our nearly 60 guests. On the day of the party, Matt, the Events Manager greeted us and was at hand to support all of our efforts to prepare the space with decorations, balloons and to set up a slide show on their mounted TV. The buffet table was beautifully set; the food was truly awesome, and just kept coming throughout the evening. Matt arranged for our guests to have drink tickets so our Birthday Boy could "buy the first round". Matt stayed nearby and came to check in on me and the party numerous times. His easy-going, friendly and FLEXIBLE demeanor went a long way to helping me "host" and have fun, knowing he had it all under control. Thank you, GVR Beer Garden. Your managers and staff are AWESOME. We all had a wonderful time thanks to them.“
