“Nothing fancy, but consistently delicious burritos and more, every time we've been. Smothered burrito is sizeable, and all the types of meat I've tried have been flavorful and delicious. Enchiladas and breakfast burritos are also good. Pretty affordable as far as restaurant food goes too.“

“I wanted to take a moment to share my experience at Morning Glory Cafe. A week ago, I made a reservation for a group of 11 people, and when we arrived, the table was perfectly set and ready for us. However, after we placed our orders, we waited over an hour and a half without receiving any food. This was brought to the attention of the staff, and understandably, frustration began to build on our end. Fortunately, the manager, Adolfo, addressed the situation beautifully. He sincerely apologized for the delay and explained that there had been a miscommunication regarding our order, which led to a significant mistake. To make amends, they comped our meals, which was greatly appreciated. Our waitress, Helen, was also very sincere in her apology. In a time when many establishments struggle to admit their errors, Morning Glory Cafe stood out by acknowledging their mistake and taking responsibility. We truly love this restaurant and deeply appreciate its integrity. I will always recommend Morning Glory Cafe to others! Thank you, Adolfo and Helen, for resolving this situation so effectively. They taste exactly how the food in Cicero/Chicago taste. every time I eat there I get little hints of being home again. My family and I are regulars at this restaurant for this EXACT reason. Emilio and Mike provided helpful guidance every step along the way and ensured that our event went smoothly. We had a large party (44 people) and they recommended that we hold our event in the heated patio area for more privacy which was a great call. Our amazing servers Julie and Ilona are top notch and didn’t miss a beat. From helping us set up/decorate the tables to taking our orders to promptly serving/clearing dishes after each course to ensuring that no one waited for beverages, their service was flawless! And the food! Everyone raved about how delicious each dish was. I forgot to take photos of all my dishes but included a few to show how beautiful/tasty they look/are! From the moment we walked in, the staff was super friendly and welcoming. The ice cream was insanely good super creamy, rich, and packed with flavor. You can tell everything is made with high-quality ingredients. There were so many unique flavors to choose from, it was hard to decide!

The shop itself was clean, cute, and had a great vibe, perfect for hanging out with friends or grabbing a treat after dinner. Portions were generous, and the presentation was beautiful too.
