“If you're in Denver or visiting to Denver, and craving authentic Turkish food, Pizza Pide is the place to go. The lahmacun has that perfectly crispy, thin crust just like back in Turkey, and the pide is equally authentic in flavor. Hands down the best spot in Denver for both.

They also make künefe, the simit is excellent, and the chef puts out a large Ottoman-style pizza that's reminiscent of a classic margherita — really delicious.

One thing to keep in mind: everything here is made from scratch, not prepped from store-bought ingredients. So yes, there's a wait — but it is absolutely worth it. You're getting real, homemade food cooked with care, and you can taste the difference.“

“I went to eat and I can not believe how tasty it was, I even had said to my daughter that we were going to share but I feel I can not stop eating, and I try to eat the tortilla so I did not finish the bowl before but it was also delicious, and the attention it was spectacular I felt like in a movie because of how friendly it was the owner, it was an experience like double winning.“

“Interesting concept restaurant - I’d describe it as Chipotle but Mediterranean food. There are some ‘curated’ bowls and salads if you don’t want to pick your own meat/veggies and accomplishments to make a pita sandwich or bowl. Nice selection of different drinks including a cucumber mint that was really tasty add to the nice strong plain ice tea. About $20 though for a salad bowl and drink. Lots of options, many vegetarian. I like that there were lentils as well as rice for a starch and the sauces and toppings were fresh and good. Pita chips were extra- it would be nice if one or two were provided for salads. It’s very busy starting at about 11:30 and it’s not many tables. Most people seem to do take out.“

“I travel here a lot and the food in Denver has gotten so much better. So I hear about Sonny’s and I love med food so let’s try it. Wow! The taste profiles are fantastic. Scratch kitchen and it’s the best med in Denver. Small place on 32nd but has a few tables inside and outside. The rotisserie chicken is to die for (I’m back the second day in a row). The spices are flavorful on the chicken but it is so juicy and they cut the side order into pieces. Easy to eat and I love their tahini. Nutty, earthy and subtle. Pairs excellent with scratch pita from the oven. The salads are excellent. Very fresh, lots of cool ingredients, falafel a must as well. Fresh is the key here. Everything tastes like it was just made with quality ingredients. People are friendly and price is affordable. Again some of the best rotisserie chicken I’ve ever had. A must try in the he Highlands“

“Wish I could give this place 10 stars. I got into an accident right in front of here on a cold January night and ended up having to wait 3 hours for the police to show up, and then another hour on top of that for the tow truck. The staff was AMAZING and let me sit here for a total of 4 hours until I was finally able to leave when the tow truck came. Since my car was totaled, there was no way for me to sit in it and wait for hours, so I don’t know what I would’ve done if they hadn’t been so gracious and sheltered me from the cold. The staff was extremely nice to me and really calmed me down after the whole experience. I was a complete crying wreck and the guys there went out of their way to make me feel better. They even offered me a free drinks while I was there! I can’t thank them enough! It really restores your faith in humanity. I hope to get back there someday soon to leave whoever’s working a big tip, to try and pay back some part of the overwhelming kindness I received that night!“

“I’ve been coming to Garbanzo for years, and it’s hands down my favorite Mediterranean spot. Their pita is the best—fluffy, fresh-baked, and far superior to the super-flat pitas you get at places like Cava. I also love that they mix up all the ingredients before stuffing the pita, so every bite is flavorful and balanced. The food is consistently fresh, with great quality for a quick, build-your-meal style restaurant.

The service is always excellent—staff are warm, hospitable, and genuinely kind. A smile and a little courtesy go a long way, and it’s something I really appreciate here. The dining area itself is simple and clean with nice decorative touches, though I’ll admit the booths could use a little extra cushion for comfort.
