“I did some research on local restaurants before my 3 day trip to Denver and was so happy to have found Lucina Eatery. Let's start with the vibe and atmosphere. I felt right at home. The staff was fantastic from Alexander Moon (GM) to Billie (bartender with the right amount of sass, playfullness and desire to please). NOW FOR THE FOOD. Well I went back 2x over the 3 days the food was so good, I sat at the bar (a lot of fun since I was by myself) and felt totally welcome and comfortable. THE CEVICHE and BROCOLLI were to die for. I have 4 orders of Ceviche. I love this place and will be back“

Looking forward to returning for the gluten free empanadas as well. 2-3 for adult is plenty. 1-2 for kiddos. The desert ones were fantastic. Don’t waste another minute reading reviews, get down and pick up some of the best empanadas I’ve ever had!“

“My company offers to order lunch and this is one of the places on the list for the day so I can’t speak to the location itself, only the food. I got 3 empanadas; spicy chicken, spicy ground beef and spicy steak. As well as the red sauce and green avocado half spicy sauce. The steak and chicken were delish mostly the chicken. The ground beef was sweet and threw me off but still yummy. The red sauce was spicy and delicious. The green had good flavor but kind of a downer compared to the red. Would def indulge again. Would like to check out their location. I’d add a photo but I already ate it.“

“I ordered to-go from here and overall the food was pretty delicious. The only downside was the Argentina empanada—after just two bites I hit meat that was too tough and chewy to eat. Personally, I think Lazo Empanadas has better crust, but this spot makes theirs larger. That said, the prices here are higher than Lazo’s.“

“I fell in love with this place immediately, the empanadas were fresh, hot, and flavorful, made me feel like I was right by the beach where I first had my first empanada. I was very impressed by their flavors and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to bring the beach side home.these were by far the the most flavorful empanadas I’ve had. They definitely made me feel like I was right back in south beach Florida enjoying them by the waves. Highly recommend! Staff was also very friendly :)“

“The absolute best coffee shop in Denver! I ordered the Horchata Latte which was served hot in a traditional red clay mug. My beverage was smooth had a delicate body, a gentle sweetness and fruitiness, and an acidic snap to finish off the experience. There was ample, clean space to sit with friends in the courtyard right outside with chairs and tables. The shop was colorfully complimented with locally made goods, homemade Mexican pan dulce, and offered so much more than coffee. They even make atole which takes me back to my childhood! I can't wait to try everything on their menu. This is my new favorite place in Denver and will quickly become yours too!“

Their specialty taco - fried avocado - was mouth watering. I also had a Baja fish taco and couldn’t help but sneak in a carnitas taco, too. “PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE! Jay the manager was so well prepared to share history, chef details and menu choices. Viviana our waitress was honestly, one of the most exceptional waitresses we’ve ever had. The tortilla soup was filled with so many delicious ingredients, perfectly balanced spices, and the presentation was perfect. The taco selections were glorious. Crispy exterior corn tortillas, rich with flavors inside! Tender beef, chicken, savory cheese selections. Truly Baja style tacos!!! The churros were stellar. Homemade vanilla enhanced batter, perfectly fried… premium cinnamon and sugar lightly dusted outside, served with warm carmel and chocolate sauces. This place is the most hidden, beautiful gem in the North Thornton/ Westminster/Northglenn area. Gorgeous Interior and seating areas. Very upscale feeling. Perfect meal.“

“I absolutely love this restaurant. It's to me the most authentic place I've tasted really yummy pupusas and other items. They make the pupusas to order so they are always fresh (I make sure I ask without loroco). The employees are really nice too, and be kind to them if you only speak English, because they are trying their best to communicate with you and make sure you get your yummy food. I just learned (since I'm always eating in) that you order pupusas over the phone you have to pay for them over the phone since they are made to order, they've had alot of people not pick them up. So don't be angry if they ask you to pay over the phone. This is a mom and pop restaurant, a little hole in the wall, so it's definitely a treasure. I always order tacos, their tamales are delicious, and their breakfast is super yummy. Even their hamburgers are delicious.“

“Came with a group of 5. We were seated quickly, but took a while to meet our waiter to get water and order first round of drinks. It was a busy Saturday night, so the initial wait wasn't a big deal. Food quality and amount for price was great, drinks were delicious. Table side services were also very good and entertaining. Could barley hear any music playing, but could here the music and bass from the bat mitzvah in the attached ballroom. Also, not a big deal. Overall we enjoyed it and we would come. I can't remember our waiter's name but he was amazing, made great recommendations, funny banter. Thank you!“
