“Chef knows Mediteranean cuisine! If you know what that means, know you can find it right here in Longmont, no trip to Denver required. If you're not sure what that means, be courageous and go try it. I recommend the Felafel, the Hummus, Za'ataar and Mezze, Moroccan shrimp the Raviollo, and Gyro. One lovely thing about this place is you can do the tapas experience, ie order a few small plates and share them, or hog them ;) enjoy a few different items and feel satisfied. You can ALSO do the usual dining experience and order an entree, all of which look amazing. The next time I plan to check out the Lamb Bolognese. Local ingredients, so it's fresh and supports your local community. What could be better? The wine list is concise, and seems geared towards pairing with the menu. It's a sweet spot for date nights and dining with friends, or bringing your family to get out of the ordinary rutt. Oh! Local art on the walls, local music for dining and friendly Local ownership. The Red Cedar Bistro is a wonderful addition to Downtown Longmont dining, and I absolutely recommend dining with and supporting them <3”

“We took a short drive to Longmont. I tagged along with a promise of a nice late lunch and some much needed miso soup. On a cold, dreary & cloudy day we found a gem, Sumo Sushi•Grill, what a treat. Outstanding service, great atmosphere and amazing food. Priced right for our Bento Box lunches. Teriyaki Chicken and Salmon, our newest favorite place to go, just 20 minutes due North! Give them a try, we highly recommend. Craving it…as I’m writing this. 🫖 🍱🍚🥟🥙🍜”

“Delicious! I dined alone and thoroughly enjoyed my dinner with a couple glasses of prosecco! Spaghetti and meatballs- classic It’s how I judge an Italian restaurant; if I don’t like their sauce I won’t be back. No worries! Perfect pasta and sauce! Tender delicious meatballs! Tiramisu (that I didn’t have room for) rounded out my meal. I recommend Carciofi and when I’m in Colorado again, I’d like to dine here again! Chi mangia bene!”

“Stopped in on our way through the area and grabbed a couple slices and some cheesy bread to go. Food came out quickly and was fresh and delicious! The slices were large and foldable NY-style with lots of gooey cheese and that cheesy bread was nothing but gooey cheese and wonderfully crispy outside/fluffy inside crust. Highly recommend this place and wish I had gotten to try more!”

Items we ordered as of 6/2025:

- Beignets - $7.99 - Delicious and a must have. Not too sweet with a lovely pillowy center! With coffee this is a slam dunk. Just don't make the same mistake I did and blow on it to cool it down (powdered sugar EVERYWHERE).

- Blackened Salmon - $18.90 - Great blackened flavor. If you like Cajun blackened flavor then you'll love this. Salmon perfectly cooked as were the eggs! Cajun home fries was pretty good especially if you like that Cajun seasoning.

- Country Fried Steak - $16 - This was absolutely delicious. The sausage gravy was rich with a nice spicy kick to it and the steak itself was very tender and fried to perfection. I would 100% order this again.

- Complimentary Biscuits - Huge and delicious! The buttery crispy exterior gives way to a soft crumbly interior. Quite satisfying.

“We were in Denver for a wedding and ran up to Longmont to see a friend from HS. We asked where a good place to eat was and after a few options we decided on 300 Suns based on the options for hatch! Items bought were vegetarian green chili (that person is a chili snob and said it was the best they had had at a restaurant), the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with fries and they refused to share, and last was a green chili smash burger. To be fair I love green chilis but don’t like getting burgers at restaurants (you can screw the patty up fast), and really hate smash burgers… this was one of the juiciest and flavorful burger I have ever had! Would recommend it 10/10! We got it with the house chips and they didn’t disappoint either. The only thing we wished they had was west coast styled IPA’s, or an IPA over 6-6.5 ABV. But the beer that we got was great.”

“Came to lunch with family. Service was incredibly slow and the restaurant wasn't half-full. The food was fine - pasta dishes were much better than the sandwich one table member ordered. Overall, I was disappointed. We arrived at noon, our lunch order wasn't taken until 12:30 and I had to leave to return to work before our dessert arrived. I wouldn't recommend this place for working professionals until 2 hours lunches are your norm.”

“On my visit to Denver, and at Embassy Tavern, I tried a Lush Puppy Juicy IPA by Bootstrap Brewing Company. This delicious brew had a smooth mouthfeel without any heavy bitterness, and a clean aftertaste. The light amber color is pretty standard for its style, and it lacks any real lacing, but its frothy enough on the pour. If you're looking for a good sessionable (even if not an actual Session beer) summer brew, you can't go wrong with choosing this beer. This New England Hazy IPA is 6.3% ABV.”

The owner of the restaurant himself, took the time to make sure we were comfortable while we were waiting for our table.. He even took us there when it was ready.!He suggested the tiki seating area in the outdoor patio. It seats six, so we were joined by two other couples. The conversation was lively and interesting. My fiancée ordered the tuna fish sandwich and I had the beet salad, both were tasty! The sun had gone down by now and the subdued lighting added a new level of ambience.. We capped off the night with the citrus cake and coffee. The service was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be going back there again!”
