He was attentive to all of his tables, keeping drinks filled and inquiring if we needed refills on soup/salad and breadsticks. The food was very good. The minestrone soup was the soup of the day. AWESOME! Yeah, it had fresh celery, potatoes, beans, and carrots, but what makes it great are the spices and consistency. The spices are like none I have ever had making it so tasteful, robust, and interesting. This soup is so….. great! Try it! I could make a meal of the soup and slice of their fresh bread!! It was that good!
We ordered the special linguine and meat lasagna. Both were perfect. They came with fresh sliced bread that was perfection.
I’d say the meat in the lasagna was their own original mixture of meats and spices, but I am no meat expert. Whatever it was made of was very tasty! I’d say if you really like meat with your pasta you will be amazed.
Such care to detail and attention is lacking in most restaurants today. This place is different. The wait help, staff, and everyone was very helpful and engaging. They want to help you! They want you ti be comfortable and for you to enjoy your time dining in their place.
I can’t say enough good things about this place. The wines, drinks, the desserts, and the specialty italian items in their market will knock your socks off!

“I ate here with a group of friends. The pizza I ordered was delicious and made me full. After eating your pizza, I decided to pay for bread sticks. The nice lady told me they were free since I dined in. The only thing y'all could improve on is serving more soda options. Had I realized sprite wasnt an option, I wouldn't have ordered soda to begin with.“

“We ate here last night and drove an hour to try it on the advise of friends who used to live in St. Louis. Our server Lilly was a complete joy. Our food was spectacular and we loved everything we ordered including the dessert, a pumpkin bread pudding with brioche bread and toffee syrup that was to die for. We are already planning our return and driving an hour for a dinner so amazing is nothing and you owe it to yourself to try it, you will find yourself also planning when you will return, it's that good!! “Ristorante Del Lago has a beautiful, very well-lit atmosphere, and the main courses definitely hit the mark. The pasta dish was absolutely perfect, and the chicken breast was incredibly fresh. Our server was super nice, attentive, and even gave us some great recommendations for local Jamaican joints, which was an awesome touch.

My only critiques are the details. For a higher-end, fine-dining-ish spot, the prices could be a little cheaper for what you get. The chairs were pretty uncomfortable to sit in for a full meal, the coffee was very dark and bitter, and the dessert bites were honestly pretty mid and didn't match the quality of the mains. Overall, excellent dinner and service, but a few small adjustments would make it perfect!“

“We have enjoyed Cansano since they opened and have loved seeing how they have elevated their menu over time and evolved. Brittany does an amazing job as their GM and always takes great care of us. We have also loved getting to know Rod - who provides amazing service and has recommended new dishes for me to try along with great wine pairings. Cansano is a great place for a holiday dinner party or a perfect date night.“
