““Those tortillas really earned my respect!” was the comment from my 14 yr old. “I’ll eat here every time we’re in Montrose” was the paired comment from our 11 yr old.
We had torta and tacos - Asada, Special & Barbacoa torta were fantastic. The taco loving 14 yr old said the marinated pork tacos are the best tacos he’s had on this side of the mountain - that’s saying something - kid eats a lot of street tacos!

“My wife and I tried El Jimador based on recommendation from a clerk at our hotel, and it was outstanding. My wife had beef fajita salad, it was excellent, seemed like a full order of beef fajitas in a taco shell. The onions, peppers, and other vegetables were well prepared. I had nachos, and they also were delicious. We couldn’t decide which of us made the better choice because both were so good. Actually, either order could have fed both of us, but then we would have missed out on the other one!“

“The lady working in drive through today at 3:30 was so courteous and just really cool. I placed a mobile order and she had it out fast and the food was warm and all correct!
