What gives you the right to berate a waitress barely older than your own daughters? What could have possibly been such a big deal? Did she delay your ketchup? Maybe forgot your ice water? Whatever the issue, it in no way warranted you pouring maple syrup all over the place like an angry toddler! Where do you get off treating other human beings that way? Food was decent and exactly what we expected at midnight on a Thursday.
But our service was IMMACULATE. Carlos was absolutely splendid! If you end up here, request Carlos and you will not be disappointed. Thank you again Carlos, you are the epitome of wonderful service!

Their breakfast sandwich was phenomenal, they offered a banana chocolate chip scone that was excellent and they have an “over night oat” oat meal that blew me away. “Very casual environment. Breakfast was very good. Our waiter was very friendly and professional and was very attentive to our needs. I had the Belgian waffle with Virginia ham and it was cooked perfectly. The wife had the Denver omelet and she loved it. The veggies were even sautéed and mixed in with the egg, and most places don't do that. They even gave her a choice of cheese to put with it. Will definitely be going back for breakfast, and maybe try the lunch one day. There are also plenty options for meals for breakfast and lunch.“

My family and I flew in from Houston for a Thanksgiving week getaway, and after hearing great things about The Original, we decided to try it out. Let me just say—we were not disappointed!

Our server, Ray D., was absolutely outstanding. He was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. The food was phenomenal—everything came out fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared.

Ray D. truly made our dining experience memorable, and we highly recommend him and this restaurant to anyone visiting Denver. If you’re looking for great service and amazing food, this is the place to be. Five stars from me and my family“

“Food was great. Service was a tad slow, but in all fairness we were there during a busy time. Decor is simple, true “home eatery” style. Our server was very friendly. Portions are huge, I ordered a sandwich with a soup and side salad and ended up taking the entire sandwich home. It was delicious as dinner later that night!“

“One of the best breakfasts I've ever had, and absolutely the best omlette I've enjoyed. My wife and I shared a few cocktails, including their pride month offering. I stared with the spicy egg salad on crispy potato because the menu said "everyone needs at least one," and I try to be a rule follower. It was a good first bite, but not the best part of the meal. My wife had the chicken sandwich, which was a special menu item. It was fantastic (I had a bite). For me though, the omlette was the star of the meal. the eggs were fluffy and cooked perfectly. The sauce was a nice complement to the eggs and beet cured salmon, separately, and also as a composed bite. The real treat, however, was the spring peas (not pictured) on the inside. We'll return next time we are in Denver, and reluctantly, I'll try something else from the menu. I should add that our sever was fantastic, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the wall of sauces is a little overwhelming, but in a good way. My favorite was the Colfax Killer. I really enjoyed it on my wife's fries and the greens that were on the side of my dish.“

“I absolutely love it here. Food is absolutely delicious and with the price I'd much rather come here than anywhere else. I have not explored the menu too much as the country benedict is too good to skip. My husband gets the steak and eggs and loves that and my kid had a waffle with strawberries and whipped cream that was crisp and fluffy with the cutest face on it.“

“There food is excellent. My husband and I have been going to this location for a long time. We know all of the waiters and owners. Laurie, Jim, Chris, Dillon And Tina are so nice to us. When they see us coming they know that my husband always has an Americano coffee and they are right on it. They just reopened 7 days a week now and we are so thrilled. Of all the Le Peeps in town they rank number one in my books. Please go there and you will see that they have good food and are all so nice. Just like family!“

“Food: I had the protein bowl, which had sausage crumbles, bacon, avocado, eggs, and a spinach salad. The bacon was crispy, how I like it, the avocado was fresh, the eggs were cooked well, and the vinaigrette on the salad was great. I enjoyed it very much!

Service: Our server was good, and got all of our specifics correct (I didn’t want the tomatoes on my protein bowl and someone else at the table got an extra egg and bacon). However, the side of bacon came with 3 slices, but they charged us $6 which was a lot!!

Atmosphere: Cozy breakfast spot in the winter, or fun energetic breakfast spot in the summer, it can be both! I like their logo too, which is scattered throughout on the walls. The one thing is that it is pretty loud so sometimes I can’t really hear other people at the table talking.

Overall: I’ve come here maybe 6 times now, and it’s been good every time and is reliable. Also a great place for those on diets! (My friend has celiac and they didn’t cross contaminate any gluten).“

“The a/C barely worked I should have went with that and left. I ordered a turkey burger. It tasted like a freezer burned patty, not like the thick hand made patties they use to serve. The bun probably 3 days old. The fries were good as was the waitress. I won't go again. They obviously have cut the quality WAY down.“
