“Tasty Garden is a staple for our household. The food is delicious and the service is fantastic! Their vegetarian meats are so so good, and they are always very accommodating with our food allergies. The employees are super friendly, but it’s more of a take-out than dine-in atmosphere. Still highly recommended!“

“This is our favorite pho place up here in Thornton. It has never disappointed us once. Tonight we had Duc as a server and he was phenomenal. His service was literally above and beyond. He was so pleasant and prompt with everything. My little made a little bit of the mess with noodles and I was trying to clean it up and he made sure I knew that he had it and I didn’t have to clean it.
My partner made sure to get his name so that we could sit in his section the next time we come.“

“Ive been going to this place since before they renovatedz back when I was around 13 years old. Now as a ripe 27 year old I still frequent this place any chance I can. The food is AMAZING, there is a TON of options, ppatr combos, or just by the scoop. And when they say 1 scoop they ALWAYS over serve you with 1.5-2 scoops for your price of one. They LOAD the food up for CHEAP. Its family owned and you can tell there is a lot of love put into this place from generation to generation. Now as a mother of a 9 year old I'm so happy that she gets just as excited at me to go to Golden scoop, like when I was a kid. Their food truly transcends generations.“

“There are some really good Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurants in Denver: Glo, Ginger Pig, Mister Oso... Hop Alley didn't live up to the hype for me. Everything was good, but not great. The service was fine, and I appreciated the food coming out quickly, but the pace felt rushed. The cocktails were weird twists on bar classics, and we've had better Chinese food elsewhere in Denver. Overall, really glad we tried it, but we'll be sticking to our preferred staples in RiNo.“

“Cozy hole-the-wall restaurant. I'm from DFW area and the Chinese food here puts DFW area to shame. Didn't taste msg in my duck soup. It was great. Also had the crunchy pork over rice and that was great too. It seems they render out excess fat but the cuts were still tender.
It's nearby an Hmart for those of your visiting out of town.“

“The Pu Pu Platter is a great way to try the appetizers. Their chicken wings and the shrimp on the platter were incredible! The spring roll platter is great to share as well. Fast service, ample seating, and kind staff. They were nice enough to show us how to make our own spring rolls as well.“

“This is definitely a good Chinese scoop restaurant. The quality isn’t super like other Chinese restaurants but for the price and quantity it is ell worth and still taste pretty good. I wouldn’t mind coming here randomly here when I’m craving Chinese food just for a cheap meal.“

“We came from Texas to visit friends & they suggested we tried hot pot for the first time! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The food was incredible, the workers were friendly & attentive, & the place was so clean/cozy/fully stocked in everything! Absolutely loved it, we wish we were closer !!“

“Good, almost great. The food is good but isn't very authentic and seems to lean heavily on salt and sugar to make it tasty. Having Chinese characters/Pinyin on the menu (where I was the only Chinese person in the entire restaurant) feels like the food should be authentic. Also, serving rice in a takeout container feels a little offensive given the sacredness of rice as the foundation of a Chinese meal.
However, the spice is nice and the flavors pop well if you're not expecting truly authentic flavors and are used to Westernized cuisine. Definitely above average for Asian food in Denver, but I'd recommend South Federal/Broomfield/Aurora for better and less expensive Asian food.
For the price and all the added service fees, I would have expected full service and food served in non-plastic dishes. It's a nice way to try some dishes without venturing out too far.“

“Wonderful service, wonderful food. The family meals are an absolute steal, and you'll eat for days off the leftovers. The Pupu platters are enough for a meal on their own, and each entree is large enough to feed 3-4 people. The food quality is also quite high, with rigorous attention to detail and delicious balancing of flavors. They are also willing to do substitutions and upgrades for a reasonable fee.“

“Food is excellent and staff is nice. No source of heat in Bathroom for ladies. No plug-,in. You cannot even put a space heater in. In winter it is freezing cold in bathroom. Cannot even sit on toilet. This does need remedied“

“By far the best Chinese around
Edit: wanted to add that I love the variety, quality and amounts of vegetables they include in their dishes. So many Chinese places around here just add some sad obviously frozen broccoli to every dish, but here you get a lot of variety and I love it.“

“The food was so good, we came back again two days later! The BEST Orange Chicken I’ve ever had. They make it with real orange juice. Superb! Kung pao chicken was tender and wonderful. Drunken noodles - amazing. Sesame chicken was very good - too many onions though. This is our new favorite. We can’t wait to try everything on the menu.“

“I genuinely tear up a little every time I get food from here. Used to come here a lot as a little kid. Not as much anymore now, but it's still as good as I remember. The employees are nice, atmosphere is sweet. And the food. OH MY GOD it's like Jesus himself fed me“

“The food is absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and packed with authentic taste. I tried the sesame chicken and lo mein, and both were spot-on, with generous portions that left me with leftovers for later. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Prices are affordable, and the convenience of takeout or delivery is a huge plus. Definitely my go-to spot for Chinese food in the area—highly recommend giving it a try!“

“The food here has always been absolutely amazing! I have been coming here for probably 20+ years, and it looks like they have upgraded everything. But knowing that prices of everything has gone up anyway, the food here and the service are totally worth it! Thank you, Lotus K

“Had great takeout here. Chicken with veggies on crispy noodles - a favorite in my family - the honey pork, and pan fried pork dumplings. All were very good! Noodles were classically crispy and crunchy with savory sauce, plenty of vegetables and chicken. Honey pork was really great; simple but a great side. And dumplings were fantastic. Like the polar bear said where’d he ate the igloo, crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside - sorry, bad dad joke. They could have added chopsticks, and some packets of mustard and duck sauce, but to the bag, but just ask for it before you leave with take away. Extensive menu, very courteous staff.“

“An update: Two years later and this is still our favorite Chinese restaurant, plus it’s been all updated. New paint, booths, and floor. It’s all very nice and clean. And we still love the food and the friendly service that we get.
Our favorite Chinese restaurant. Food is always good, fresh, and reasonably priced and the service is excellent.“

“I stopped by Panda Garden Chinese Restaurant and really enjoyed my meal. The Pork Fried Wontons are homemade, crispy on the outside and full of flavor inside — you can tell they’re freshly made. The Fish with Garlic Sauce was tender, with just the right amount of garlic flavor, and the vegetables were fresh and tasty.
The service here is friendly and efficient, the place is clean, and it’s in a convenient location. A nice spot for a good, fresh Chinese meal.
I definitely will be back!!“

“Seriously the best spot in Arvada for an affordable meal and very delicious. The sweet man and his wife run the business, cook all of the food, serve the food and keep the tables and floor super clean. Youll walk out spending only $6-$9 for a large portion of food (depending on what you select).“

“Literally the freshest and most delicious food I’ve had in a take out experience. The vegetables and cooked perfectly, but enough that they still have a crisp to them that lets you taste how fresh they are. The chicken is flavorful and juicy. The egg drop soup is the chefs kiss. Happy to make this my new go to spot.“

“This place is great. We've been going for about 2 or 3 years now and each time we are met with incredibly kind, quick and attentive service. The waitstaff are all fabulous, and the food is just as good. We've been to a few hot pot places, and this one stands out by a mile.
The cherry ontop is the Kung Fu Tea right next door. 😉
Thank you HPS for being so great at what you do!!“

“Dined at Heaven Dragon with my family today! the restaurant has been around for many years, but the decor remains very clean and refined, showing how well it’s been maintained. I visited in the afternoon when it was still quiet, creating a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. Their sesame chicken is a must-try—tangy, sweet, and absolutely delicious. They sell dozens of servings daily!
If you're in Broomfield, don't miss out on Heaven Dragon! They also have several other locations in Denver.“

“As a kid I went here often and liked it every time. This was my baseline for how American style Chinese food is done. Coming back these days, I can’t help but feel the food has lowered in quality.
I feel like you folks changed chefs or over time you decided to save money on power by cooking food a little less, save money on spices by using a little less over time, and you’re using more MSG to compensate for the lack of char and spice.“

“I ordered pickup for lunch. Their lunch combo came with a rangoon, egg roll, soup and rice. The fried rice didn't have much to it. Little bits of egg but I'm here for the basil shrimp. There was lots of tender sauteed bok choy and the shrimp were nice and plump. I'd order again.
There's currently construction around the shopping center so there's tons of big work trucks parked along the street. Be careful!“

“Ive been going to this place for about 4-5 years now. I moved away about two years ago and no other chinese food place has lived up to how amazing the food tastes here. This is my favorite chinese food place and I will drive from Wheat Ridge to Commerce City just to eat here (every once in a while). Once you eat here you will fall in love. I would add photos but the food was gone before I could get the chance to take any. 100% recommend eating here.“

“Love this place. Food options is similar to the other local joints. The owners are friendly and the food servings are massive. I got all this for less than $6, the soda adds $1.25, so less than $8. 10/10 would recommend.
I get white rice, rice noodle and orange chicken 10/10“

“Vegetarian options: My boyfriend likes the lo mien as it has no meat. And the fried rice. When ordering he gets the beef and broccoli and they're very kind enough to take the meat out of the dish for him. Spring rolls are delicious and no meat. Cheese wontons aren't made with crab meat. The potatoes are delicious.“

“Uncle Henry’s continues to fire on all cylinders, maintaining its place as the best fresh, authentic Szechuan/fresh roasted duck & pork Restaurant in the north suburban area. Every dish we’ve tried for more than a year has been richly flavored, well executed, and served at an ideal temperature. The husband & wife team who run the place are gifted chefs, as well as friendly, helpful, and very hard working, as is the rest of the small staff. This storefront restaurant has now become solidly and regularly very busy, which it well deserves. Try it, and try multiple dishes on and off the menu. These folks are running a top small restaurant, and their success is based on all the right things. Kudos to the Westminster Uncle Henry’s!“

“This place is way better than a scoop restaurant. The food is more East Coast Chinese American style and the first place I’ve found in Colorado that makes their chicken and broccoli with brown sauce, rather than that imo totally unappetizing clear goop they use everywhere else here. I live nearby and order all the time. Delivery is always ridiculously fast, and I haven’t had anything that wasn’t tasty.“

“My fiancé and I love this place! I’m gluten free and it’s hard to find a Chinese food place with great food and a large selection! This is the place! “My wife and I have been eating at Heaven Dragon in Thornton for 30 years., and I have always ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan chicken. I don't know who the chief was on 8/19/2025, but that was the without a doubt, the best I have ever had! I rarely give reviews out for any restaurant, but I thought today to be an exception. Whoever you were, I congratulate you on your exceptional skill as a chef I“

“Reviews for places like this are tricky. If you typically eat fast food, spend less than $5 on lunch, or consider Wendy’s an upgrade choice, the review is clear: “Great food, great price, I’ll go again.” If you have ever spent $30/pp on Chinese food, you rate this place two stars at best.
You already know what to expect: Huge piles of cheap, mediocre food. The dishes and quality are right out of a 1993 Midwestern mall food court. The price performance is wildly impressive. Counter service Combo gets you two mains, side, and a bottled drink for about $10. Add $1.50 or so for some soup.
The food was all meh all the time. Orange Chicken tasted OK but as others noted on the edge of rubbery. The Mongolian Beef had, I think, actual cow in it. Poor quality meat; onions and peppers fresh and tasty. Spring Roll was excellent and the standout winner. Hot and Sour Soup was the worst I’ve ever had in my life (and I love this dish.) Hot chili oil was beyond gross.
Summary: Really cheap food. Excellent price performance. I’ll never return only because I think I’d rather spend $7 more and have higher quality of food. Unless you really need a giant pile of food for $10, skip this place.“

“This was a pleasant surprise. Very good Chinese take-out. It's much better than the other options around, especially Panda Express. I ordered through their website, it was very easy, and 10 minutes later I arrived and it was ready moments later. It was hot and fresh, packed in a box for easy carrying. I'll be back.“

“Fantastic dim sum, my favorite thing I ate was the pineapple bun. I also really appreciate the tea that was served. The presentation and that the waiter constantly topped up the hot water was very nice.
I also appreciated how dim sum was served from the menu. Oftentimes dim sum can be served from a cart that's rolled around the restaurant, but having a menu made it easy to ensure we were able to try everything we wanted.“
