“Who doesn't enjoy a good greasy burger? Or onion rings? THIS is the place to make it happen.

A group of 12 of us graced Ouray with our presence for a friend-cation. Food is challenging in a smaller town but Maggie's made it happen.

This was a fun spot to run upon. The signatured walls + great menu offered great options for everyone. The tables ranged from large to small so we were all able to hang and eat.

The location is central Ouray and plenty of street parking nearby. Touristy vibe but that isn't a bad thing.

Food was solid. You get exactly what you expect. The prices were fair. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We had a grea time.

If you are in Ouray, make it a point to stop-by - this is obviously a staple of their lovely little town and deserves to be supported!“

“My husband and I only spent 3 days in Telluride and came here for dinner twice, which says a lot about the quality of this place. The vegan options are amazing and the mushroom fest ramen was the star, no doubt.

What really makes this place excellent, however, are the employees. We had the same server/bartender twice, Danielle, and she was soooo absolutely lovely to talk to, she made great drinks, and kept the pace of our meals moving at just the right speed. Can't thank her specifically enough for her hospitality!!“

“We visited Telluride in January. Brown Dog is not ordinary pizza. It was extraordinary-I’m completely ruined for pizza anywhere else! We’ve talked about this place countless times since our visit 8.5 months ago. The service was great (I believe our waitress was named Becca) and out of allll the great places we visited in Telluride and Mountain Village, this was the place we’re still talking about. Highly, highly recommend! I don’t know if I’ll ever get back to Telluride, but if I do, you’ll find me at Brown Dog Pizza!“

“Tammee and her crew catered our daughters wedding in Ouray this past weekend. Fabulous doesn’t start to describe! She also did the cake which stole the show! Several comments I have gotten since included ‘best wedding cake I’ve ever tasted’ to ‘top 3 cake in my lifetime’. We followed up by going to the cafe on Sunday where again the food was fantastic! If you need an event caterer or a place for lunch/dinner True Grit is the place!“

“The National was FABULOUS! It is an extremely well done restaurant that I will most certainly come back to next time I am in Telluride. The restaurant itself is small but has a very lively atmosphere. The service was great- we had a friendly server who gave great recommendations, which I think always makes the difference between a good and great restaurant. As far as food, we got the short rib, gnocchi, arugula salad, cacio e pepe, and the focaccia. Every item was fabulous EXCEPT the focaccia. I was super disappointed as it kind of seemed just like a loaf of sandwich bread... But the short ribs- amazing. The cacio e pepe was the best I have ever had... perfect amount of flavor. Both the gnocchi and the pasta itself in the cacio e pepe were great homemade pastas with perfect textures! Lastly- the arugula salad was absolutely amazinggg. It had the best nutty/zesty flavor and it is one I am going to try and make at home. So good! Make a reservation if possible, although we got lucky and walked in without one and were seated. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a well done flavorful meal!“

“The service was excellent, but the food…hot and cold (NO pun intended). My black bean soup was excellent, and so was the salmon. In fact, the salmon was one of the best I’ve ever had. The Crispy Shrimp & Calamari, shared at the table, wasn’t really crispy at all. It had a tiny bit of sauce drizzled over it, but most pieces didn’t get touched by it, so you had to either ask for a side of dipping sauce (which we didn’t) or eat it plain. Also, there were hardly any shrimp in with the calamari. My Caesar Salad was awful. Before ordering, I confirmed that the dressing was made in house, but it was a tasteless, bland, cream colored, nondescript thin liquid, without a hint of garlic. I didn’t complain, but I tried my only other option of adding plenty of salt and pepper, which just didn’t help. We didn’t order dessert, so I can’t comment on that element. Overall, I think Cosmo’s is a very fine restaurant, but maybe we just didn’t choose well. I would certainly go back, but I would never order the Caesar again, and I would carefully discuss the calamari with the server before committing to it.“

“As a local, I have loved Kate’s for several years. However, I do NOT like the recent changes. The beloved home fries are gone and replaced with frozen diced potatoes- very disappointing. You can’t upgrade your bread option to a pancake anymore, either.“

“Went and Telluride you must visit the butcher in Baker. The food is high-quality and Welp together. Obviously the Baker knows what they’re doing. Tables, bathroom, water, area and floor. All could use a little attention. Also, a friendly face behind the counter wouldn’t hurt. Not a dealbreaker, just a friendly suggestion.“

“Caravan’s middle eastern food is absolute fabulous! And plentiful! Fresh & amazingly flavorful food. We had the veggie plate with tabouli, baba ghanouj, hummus, spanakopita, falafel & salad. The owner, David & his wife Diana, went above & beyond & we had one of the best experiences ever at a restaurant. I highly recommend Caravan!!“
