I'm not sure why I had not visited Magpies as of yet but I am very glad I finally did make a lunch visit. The inside is a beautifully preserved historic setting. The food was very good and the waitress was willing and able to answer our many questions about the food and the building. There is enough of a variety to the menu to have something for most everyone but not so large that you struggle to decide. Dined in for lunch with coworkers. The vegi sandwich was delicious. Atmosphere was comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful, prices were appropriate. Recommended for a lunch spot!

The beautiful building is really something you should see. The service was great..our server made suggestions, even with suggestions on one dressing being better with the sandwich than an other due to flavors going together. Which, I appreciated! I will definitely be going back. It is also locally owned!Dietary restrictions: They do offer gluten free items.
