“They got some new workers and today my drink order was correct for the first time in 3 years, Also the fries were perfect today. I hope they keep it up. The wait time today was reasonable as well. (In the past the wait time was forever long and the fries would be ick, and my drink would be wrong) I even startled my waitress and she remained calm and polite.”

“This was my first time here and it certainly won't be my last. The staff were absolutely outstanding, and the food did not disappoint at all. Do not miss the Elote appetizer with the Crema and the queso fresco they are fire. It has a nice bite with it due to the lime juice that I've never had before,that was a five star hit. My server informed me that they were famous for their Birra tacos and had several dishes in that theme. I chose the birra quesadilla. The roast beef inside was tender and juicy. The flower tortilla was crisp and flavorful. They do not skimp on portions there was enough meat in this entrée to be a pot roast dinner. I can't wait to go back..”

“I live in WY and found Shah Kabob House while my family spent the weekend in CO Springs. We stopped in for the 2nd time today as we drove through town on our way back from spring break. We have had variations of kabobs in VA, NM, CA, and AZ. None of them have been as good as Shah Kabob. I will miss this place (even though it's a 2.5 hour drive from my home now) when we move away. I recommend the place to all of our friends. The flavors are so vibrant and balanced! The best!”

Ms. Cleo (wife) runs the kitchen and the restaurant, until the husband Richard gets off from active duty military service in the army. “Whenever I am in a town with a Jamaican restaurant I eat there and all I ever have is the goat curry. I've had this dish in the US and in the Caribbean. The goat curry at Pete's is the best I've ever had! It is such a well balanced mix of spices, herbs, and vegetables that I couldn't identify more than a few of its complex ingredients. The decor adds to the experience of dining in a Kingstown bistro as well as the "love" that comes out of the kitchen.”

“Love this place so much! I’m not usually a fan of chain restaurants but my favorite thing about this place is the fact that they source locally as much as they can. We have been here a few times now and every single time it has been great. The food and service are consistently good. Every server we have had was amazing. I used to work in restaurant industry for years so I notice the little things. I love to see multiple managers on the floor talking to customers, refilling drinks, running food. One server I have to point out is Jennifer, she’s never actually been our server but always remembers us, specifically my daughter who was having a meltdown one day and she offered to bring her a bowl of fruit. And we weren’t even in her section. Great service, thank you!”

Everything tastes fresh, authentic, and clearly made with care. The prices are honestly unbelievable for the quality. The portions are generous, everything is homemade, and they could absolutely charge more if they wanted to. It’s rare to find food this good at such an affordable price. Highly recommend Norma’s Bakery to anyone looking for authentic, delicious Mexican baked goods and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!”
