“The best restaurant in Vail!“

“We were staying at The Hythe and decided to try the hotel restaurant. The staff were so nice and professional. We had Thomas and he was just the best--very friendly and checked in on us just the right number of times. The food was very good rounded out a very exciting vacation week. Would definitely go back next time we're at The Hythe!“

“My husband met the owner on the gondola one day and told us all about First Chair. We made it out for dinner and drinks with the kids a few days later. Chris served us and it was great meeting him as a fellow East coaster! We ordered almost all of the burritos on the menu and were not disappointed! The smash burger was easily my favorite. My dad would order the meatball burrito for every meal, I swear, with how much he enjoyed it as well as my 1 year old eating half of one herself. My son did work on the nachos they were so tasty! When we get back to Vail, we'll be sure to stop in! great staff and food!“

“My favorite cafe in Vail. I used to go just for morning coffee and the lox (very generous and fresh salmon portion) and maybe an afternoon Hugo Spritz, but they also make the best empanadas I’ve ever tasted. Just big chunks of slow braised beef in a warm, crispy crust. Amazing.“

“You'd think that being in Vail and in a golf club, this would be expensive as hell. It's not, given all that. We had a quick stop and hastily picked up a sandwich and our server treated us very nicely and the food was high quality. The sandwich with the side of fries was like 18 bucks. Highly recommend. And the views were gorgeous.“
