“The best restaurant in Vail!“

“My husband met the owner on the gondola one day and told us all about First Chair. We made it out for dinner and drinks with the kids a few days later. Chris served us and it was great meeting him as a fellow East coaster! We ordered almost all of the burritos on the menu and were not disappointed! The smash burger was easily my favorite. My dad would order the meatball burrito for every meal, I swear, with how much he enjoyed it as well as my 1 year old eating half of one herself. My son did work on the nachos they were so tasty! When we get back to Vail, we'll be sure to stop in! great staff and food!“

“We had a wonderful experience there! We were a little worried about eating at a clubhouse and being underdressed since we were traveling, but our waitress Kristen spotted us and was all smiles. The food was delicious, and my mother and I agree that they have the best fries we’ve ever had.“

“We had a really lovely time at Treff Cafe in Vail. The café is very cozy and comfortable, perfect for sitting down and relaxing.
We ordered a few things at different times — the blueberry Danish, strawberry & cream sundae, and the smoked salmon bagel — and everything was surprisingly delicious. The smoked salmon bagel was especially amazing and definitely a must-try if you like smoked salmon. 😋
The staff were extremely friendly and kind. Some seats have power outlets, which is super helpful when you need to charge your phone or tablet while waiting for people who went skiing.
Also, the restroom was very clean, which I really appreciate.
Such a nice place with great vibes and delicious food. Highly recommend!“

“Steven Teaver the owner was awesome! He opened up a little early to allow us Oregonians to check out Bad Kitty Lounge! Made us feel like long time friends! The suspended mirrored ski boot was a spectacular touch. Were there 08/23/21. Going through some of our Colorado vacation pics and had to comment on this place.“

“Impeccable food Impeccable service Impeccable ambiance ...... EXCEPT ....... We were seated at a 2-top next to the window, wonderful view of the Gore Creek, HOWEVER, the heating vents right next to the table were blasting heat. I immediately asked the waiter to turn down the heat. However, after just 5-10 minute sitting at the table I began to feel overwhelmed by the heat and had to remove my shirt and sit there with just my colored T-shirt (great for Denny's, not very appropriate for The Left Bank). With the heat slightly reduced but still very uncomfortable, I stuffed part of the table cloth into the heat vent and used two cloth napkins to block the heat. By the time we finished our appetisers, the heat was under control and we were able to enjoy our fabulous meal. Will we come back? ABSOLUTELY. Will we sit at the table again? NO WAY“

“Check in was at 4pm, not a minute earlier. But once you arrive at your room, it is extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. We had a nice gas stove and all the amenities needed for laundry and cooking. Our family was super comfortable in a two bedroom apartment and had enough room for all their toys. The location is also the best in vail! you are seconds away from the village and all ice rink. We opted to stay on the non village side because we were worried about noise, however the other side (facing the highway) can be quiet noisy if you are a light sleeper. The pool/gym area was also a nice touch, with updated workout machines and bikes. We did have a little mishap with the concierge and our babysitter not showing up so we missed an excursion. The concierge desk was having trouble solving it, but the manager came in and handled it all swiftly to help make this feel like a five star vacation. We will be returning. xThank you!“

“Cucina is such a hidden gem. I wish more people in Vail new about Cucina! The space is huge, the atmosphere is great, and the staff is incredibly fast and friendly—especially Salvatore and Tyler. Even with our big event, they were quick, patient, kind, and super attentive. Their customer service really stood out, and I’ll definitely be coming back. The burger was delicious, and I can’t wait to try their breakfast menu next time!“

“We have been wanting to try the ‘Vail edition' of Tavernetta ever since they opened last year, and it did not disappoint! We were seated at the perfect table, and were surprised to see how busy the restaurant was on a Monday night!  How can you not start with the focaccia? It paired perfectly with the burrata and heavenly wine that was recommended, a 2020 Barolo ( the wine list is extensive!). We enjoyed  the insalate mista along with the lobster linguine and the quail entrée ( this was such a unique and delicious dish!) Truly a special evening! Looking forward to our next visit!“

“This was a Christmas Eve dinner. First thing first it's quite expensive and that's probably it is Christmas time and you get to have a very well buffet spread. Service level is as expected high level. No complains on food as the options were lot and high quality. Not sure how it would have been if it were alacarte“
