“The best restaurant in Vail!“

“We have this experience two summers as we had a new waiter the first time but same waiter this time. Our order took over an hr to get and the waiter came back after 45 min wait to tell us our 15 month child menu was not available. How could they not know when we ordered from children's menu. Unexceptionable! Then after over hr food came but one did not receive her smash burger. That is inexcusable! Waiter then came back to apologize. The manager was very polite and comp our meal. We actually liked the food we finally got which is sad. We will not try it again from two experiences the same.“

“My husband met the owner on the gondola one day and told us all about First Chair. We made it out for dinner and drinks with the kids a few days later. Chris served us and it was great meeting him as a fellow East coaster! We ordered almost all of the burritos on the menu and were not disappointed! The smash burger was easily my favorite. My dad would order the meatball burrito for every meal, I swear, with how much he enjoyed it as well as my 1 year old eating half of one herself. My son did work on the nachos they were so tasty! When we get back to Vail, we'll be sure to stop in! great staff and food!“

“You'd think that being in Vail and in a golf club, this would be expensive as hell. It's not, given all that. We had a quick stop and hastily picked up a sandwich and our server treated us very nicely and the food was high quality. The sandwich with the side of fries was like 18 bucks. Highly recommend. And the views were gorgeous.“

“My wife looked up GF cafes in Vail and the Treff cafe came up. It serves a range of GF baked goods. The blueberry muffins were particularly good in both GF and non GF. The location is great in the pedestrian free part of Vail. Service was very good and the open area in front of the cafe is wonderful on a bright sunny day.“

“From the start, all was A+. I received a phone call an hour prior regarding table locations. When we arrived, we were able to sit at the bar and have a delicious cocktail made by MJ. We were with friends that this was their first time dining at LB so we wanted it to be special. We were seated promptly, great service with explanations of the specials and wine to accompany our dinners. The tomato soup served with a puff pastry top was delicious. Every entree comes with a salad and they were also very good. The guys split the Beef Wellington while the ladies split the Dover sole. Absolutely delicious. The chocolate soufflé was wonderful. Overall, we could not ask for a more pleasant, unhurried evening with good friends and a delicious meal with super service. We will be back.“
