“My wife and I have been here three times before and it has become our favorite restaurant in the entire Denver area. We’re going again tonight for our 32nd anniversary and we can’t wait!
The food is unfailingly amazing. The blend of modern French with North African and Middle Eastern flavors blow my mind every time because Jon’s execution is so good. We moved from the NYC area to Colorado a few years ago and agree that Bistro Barbes is the only thing we’ve found that matches the quality of our favorites in NYC (including several places with Michelin Stars).“

“We chose Restaurant Week to visit this restaurant. It was lovely. Food was fresh and excellently prepared. The staff was welcoming and our server was friendly. The restaurant is not in our neighborhood but we may go back. The food and service was certainly worthy of a return visit.“

“Amazing brunch. Excellent pastries, Denver omelette, yogurt parfait and pancakes Suzette were all enjoyed at our table. Katie, who took care of our every need, was pleasant, professional and an excellent representative of the restaurant, and the community. When next we travel to Denver, hope to enjoy once again!“

“Love the new location of this iconic restaurant. Beautiful space, more open and hip, and the food is better than ever. Had the French Onion soup, Ott Provence Rose was suggested by my server; Beautiful and a great pairing with the sweetbreads. Service was great. Excellent experience!“

“I have been here a few times, but most recently came to La Merise for a birthday brunch with a group of 4. We sat on the patio, which was shaded and a good vibe.
The Stroganoff Crêpe and Seafood Crêpe are in the picture - They were good, and the crêpes are a fun signature offering at La Merise and a nice mix-up from your traditional brunch selections.
La Merise is a rare find in Cherry Creek area for bottomless mimosas, although I would say the service and refills were a little less attentive than other bottomless locations throughout Denver.“

“Absolutely fantastic. This is our new favourite neighborhood restaurant. The beautiful setting, outdoors and in, makes it so inviting. Each time we have dined here, we have been greeted warmly by the maitre'd and then again by the wait staff. So friendly in a down to earth way and perfectly professional. The service is attentive without being intrusive. And the food! The endive salad is deliciously refreshing and interesting. The tuscan mussels fantastic. On our last visit we enjoyed the Salmon and the Scallops. Sheer perfection. The only reason I give it 4 stars this time is that the Bronzino, while lovely, was just not as interesting as the other dishes. A big shout out to Harold and Julio, and I am sorry I cannot name the host who is consistently delightful. Superb service.Wonderul food. Great drinks and wine menu. Highly highly recommend.“

“We discovered them at this years Christmas Market in Denver! Their pretzels are AHMAZING! BUT the sourdough takes the cake! Especially the jalapeño sourdough!! We made French dips tonight for dinner and they were hands down the best we have ever had!“

“We went here and had the strawberry 🍓 shortcake crepe and the chevir raspberry crepe it was such a great taste the combination paired so good the presentation was beautiful
A few week before we travel to Boulder to try holy crepes and let’s just say I won’t go back but I will be going back to cafe crepe“

“Famille is an undiscovered gem in Westminster. I've been twice now and both experiences have been great. Both times for brunch. The service has been really good. Food has been delicious. Great menu, everything sounds amazing, so it was difficult to choose. At my last visit I chose the Colorado Green Chili Ranchero and it was awesome! The atmosphere is so nice. Very comfortable with cool vibe.“
