“My husband and I stopped in for coffee on our way out of town. While our drinks were delicious, I noticed an attractive young associate with blonde hair that was pulled back into a bun who suffered from a severe case of RBF. At one point she let the rest of the crew know that she was putting on “her music “ unfortunately for us, “her music “ was not relaxing coffee house music, but instead was a discordant heavy beat that made you feel uncomfortable. I even approached a different barista at the counter to tell her that the music sounded “heavy “ to which she replied “Okay”. This was not the customer service that we have come to expect with Starbucks, but in particular to the small town feel which caters mostly to tourists in Woodland Park. My husband grew up in Woodland Park and came home for the weekend for his High School reunion, while we had a great weekend, this was a strange finish to that visit.“
“I honestly don’t know if I could last an hour working at this location! People are constantly rude, and the ladies working here do an incredible job of being kind, patient, and work their butts off to get orders to customers timely and they are always delicious. I have so much respect for the girls working here! Management might benefit from having an extra hand available to help them out“
