“Absolutely my favorite spot to get a breakfast sandwich or lunch from around the area. Not only does Tom make the best sandwiches, the service is quick, prices are amazing, with convenient parking. The "Monsta" is a must try! Breakfast or lunch anytime from open to close. HIGHLY RECOMMEND🔥🔥🔥Open until 2-3pm on weekdays and closed on weekends. Stop by say hi to Tom, enjoy an amazing meal, and I promise you that you won't be disappointed..

“So this is definitely a small town local watering hole buuuuuuuut… the minute you walk in, whether you’ve been a regular for 20 years or it’s your first visit to the eagle you will feel welcomed by staff and patrons alike. The staff is top notch (and honestly a great steal for the locals to enjoy in the cocktail mastery of this place)! They create their own drinks like master mixologists, and the good ole regular drinks are stiff and reasonably priced. There’s always a friend to be made and a good time to be had!!! 5+ stars!!!!“

“My daughter and I stopped here on our way back from a UConn tour - I’m vegetarian and the Mediterranean pasta was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had - highly recommend!!! My daughter ordered chicken and a side of fries, the fry order was huge for $5! I helped her eat the fries and we both couldn’t put a dent in it! Friendly staff, beautiful sunset view - if we are ever back in the area we will definitely stop back in!“

“10/10 came from out of state for a quick bit to eat. This is the rigatoni chicken parm! Perfect amount of crispiness and the vodka sauce is to die for. The “bottom of the pit” mixed drink was ammmmazzzinnggg. Apple crisp for dessert is the perfect ending. Can’t forget about the Carolina gold dipping sauce for the sweet potato fries!! Best food ever! “I'm visiting from out of state, and I like to find places to eat that I don't have back home. I love loaded fries, so this was a no-brainer for me. I ordered the taco fries without jalapeños. The service was great, the presentation was gorgeous, and the taste was excellent. The fries themselves, aside from any toppings, are thick-cut, earthy-tasting, legitimate freshly-made from handcut potatoes. The toppings were generous and flavorful, and didn't taste generic or store-bought. 10/10 would recommend, and I hope to eat here again on future visits to the area!“

“I came here last night for the first time after a recommendation and so glad we did cause they did not disappoint. The decor is a little dated however we have the nicest waitress Natasha who made the evening so great. She was very prompt and friendly and really funny. The food portions were a generous size and everything we had was really good. We never once asked for water refills, she just kept them coming. Amazing staff. Amazing food. Will be returning to our new local favorite spot in the very near future and hopefully will get the same amazing waitress.“

“I had lunch at Vernon Friendly’s The food was good and the waitress was friendly. She did a great job. I did notice that it took some time to get the food. But the service was great and I will definitely be going there to have lunch there again.“

“Went to a private birthday party in the vip room. There are 6 lanes,a bar and plenty of seating. The food was buffet style and it was ok, nothing to rave about. It was basically wings and pizza.It's a great place for a kids birthday party.“

“I decided to stop in The Vernon grill by accident About 6 months ago To pick up Lottery tickets and noticed they had a grill inside. So I decided to look at the menu and order one of their grilled signature sandwiches which was excellent. Since that day, I continue go to Go there. I find that they're food is excellent. I have never had a problem Ordering anything on their menu? It's always been delicious. The staff is very friendly and down to earth. I find that whenever I decided not to cook at home I always wind up at Vernon grill. I have found this establishment to be one that I enjoy a great deal. I continue to tell my friends and family to give it a try and they have enjoyed it very much. I have yet to have any negative experiences. I give them a 5 star rating for a fast food establishment which I have become a very satisfied customer. GREAT JOB VERNON GRILL WELL DONE“

“Hands down my favorite spot for wings. So many flavors.... dry seasoned or sauce.... whatever mood your in.... youll find wings to match it. Great beer. And a ton of different stuff bottled or on tap. And last but not least their prime rib...... brrrruuuuhhhhh. They have the best prime rib ive eaten at any restaraunti n ct. “I ordered a cheese steak and a six pack. I am new to the area, having just bought land and I am very pleased with this place. They took a bit long, over an hour, to deliver but I am satisfied. They included a bag of chips, and a pickle! I'm not even a fan of pickles but this was crunchy and tasty! The cheese steak was excellent! Also it was still hot by the time it got to me! I asked for the cheapest six pack and they brought me Narragansett light. I have never heard of this beer but it is refreshing and enjoyable! I am only giving your stats because it took a bit longer than expected but seeing as I only ordered a sandwich I can understand if they saved my delivery for last. In the end I got a hot delicious sandwich and cold delicious beer. I will add them to my phone book right away!“
