“Sushi 2020 is an absolute go to spot for me and my partner. It's a wonderful restaurant that is owned by a lovely couple who runs the entire place just by themselves! I am always floored with just how much warmth and kindness they treat us with, even on the busiest of days. Not only that, the food is made with great care and packed with tons of flavor! You can't go wrong with any of the menu items they have listed. Personally, I definitely recommend the mixed sashimi salad and Hoe-deopbap. If you're in the mood for something more warm, the Kimchi Sundu-Jigae just hits the spot. Highly recommend the Korean dumplings as well.

“I needed a small sushi platter for a get together with my friends. I didn't think.most of the guests would partake I'm the sushi so figured I'd be enjoying it by myself! I was wrong
Everyone ate, everyone enjoyed! The sushi was delicious! I called the night before to pick up the next afternoon. I prdered a platter that they said was for two. But you get quite a few rolls! It's a mix of cooked rolls and raw ones. I ordered a sweet potato roll on the side. You get soup or salad as well. So i got two salads. I paid over phone. I picked up and everything was ready for me. Packaged well, with little dishes for individual soy sauce dipping. The platter had ginger and Wasabi. It was a beautiful spread. Fresh and tasty. The interior was clean and bright. They have a Japanese menu and a Chinese menu. The lady that ha did it to me was so nice. She had settled my order already so I couldn't give a tip. So next time I'm up this way, I will certainly make up for that! What a great eatery.“

“The only thing to order here is the teriyaki chicken. It is simply the best food I have ever had in my life. The simpleness of veggies, rice, and chicken with mouth watering teriyaki sauce is making me drool right now. And it has been around for a very long time that my own father ate it when he was a kid. They treat everyone greatly and make it easy to talk to them and I am telling you right now, if you don’t get extra teriyaki sauce, you will regret it. “My husband surprised me with a dinner gathering at Red Lotus. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by two staff members and the owner Larry. Gary was our server who I must say was by far the best server we have ever had. Gary and Larry truly made us feel like we were the only ones there (they had a full house) the food was delicious we were a party of 8 and all had different plates none of us were disappointed with our food. The presentation of the plates were beautiful! Larry made sure to come to our table and assure we were satisfied with our food and service took time out to talk with us and build a relationship. My wife had the Dinner Bento Box with the Bento Chicken and loved everything. The service was outstanding. The prices are very reasonable and the portions generous. The soup or salad that comes with the meal is very good. We go to the best rated restaurants in Connecticut and NY. and if they were to improve their ambiance/atmosphere which is a little plain and make the restaurant more romantic it would be a destination restaurant and one of the best anywhere.“

“My fiancé and I loyally order from here when we are craving Chinese food or sushi. Not only does the food always hit the spot, but their service is amazing. When I informed the woman working at the front of my gluten sensitivity, she took time to run through every ingredient and its contents and triple checked there would be no contamination (who knew imitation crab had gluten?). They took my sensitivity very seriously and I’m extremely grateful for that, as this service is rare.
