“Today We went to Taco Central because we were in the mood for Mexican food. The food was great as was the service from our waitress Liliam who recommended a La Parrillada and steak fajita that were very delicious.We also tried a couple of strawberry flavored margaritas that were great. We highly recommend this restaurant.“

My partner said it’s the best breakfast burrito he’s ever had in Ct. I got a vegan soyrizo sandwich and was also blown away. Can’t WAIT to go back and try more of their dishes - everything that came out of the kitchen looked bangin! The owners are friendly and outgoing. “This is a small taqueria located downtown. The ambience is like a luncheonette, not a romantic affair at all. I came on a Saturday night with a friend and we were fortunate to be seated immediately at the last available table. Service was also immediate and friendly. I felt as though they were anxious for us to order however we had some questions about the menu and so our server had to return to give us time to decide. Once served, and eating they scooped up our plates before the food even got to our mouths! This was unsettling as we felt rushed and that they needed the plates back as soon as the food was off of them. I ordered the shrimp ceviche that came with avocado and chips on the side . It was tasty however different than any I had before in that it was in a tomato base and seemed more like a gazpacho than ceviche. We each ordered a pear and beet salad which we liked and cornbread to share which was delicious. My friend had a chicken taco that was enjoyed. They don't serve liquor here so we were a bit disappointed that we didn't get to have a margarita to go with the food. Like I said, it appeared that they don't want you to linger. Overall the food was good and the service was friendly. If you want to eat and go, this place will fit the bill.“

“First time at this place. It was decently busy and there were only 2 bartenders taking care of the whole place. We got our appetizer at the same time as our entrees, which was a little disappointing. It's a nice place and the food was good. They have trivia on Wednesdays and pool tables available for those who like to play pool. Plenty of TV's if you're planning to go watch a game.Vegetarian options: They have a black bean burger for vegan/vegetarian.“

“We love Baja's! The salsa bar is always delicious and fresh, the margaritas are enjoyable, and the entrees are always yummy. I typically order the mango shrimp platter, which comes with 2 tortillas for making one's own burritos. The shrimp is flavorful, and the mango salsa is absolutely perfect!The staff is very friendly and warm, we feel so comfortable every time we eat there. We consider Baja's "our place" and when we want to eat out but don't want to make a fuss, we happily retreat to Baja's.“

“One of Milford's best downtown restaurants. Many tapas and entrees to choose from and don't forget to pay attention to the nightly specials, they are remarkable. Sometimes I go there just for a glass of wine and David's au gratin potatoes- to die for! The outside eating area makes you feel like you are in Barcelona, Portugal or the south of France. “I always order the Molcajete Azteca but today I wanted to try something different. WOW!! The Seafood Molcajete is wonderful. The dish comes with rice and bread, but you can order an order of homemade tortillas on the side. The food is very very delicious, I recommend it.“

Then 2 of our party were an hour late. We put our order in at 7 and told the waiter that we had an 8 o'clock show to catch- I was impressed with how fast the food came out! “Had this with my wife. We shared 3 tacos, the chicken, goat, and steak. Also had the mulitas birria, elotes, and tres leche cake. This food is CRAZY good! Super clean tasting, bright in ways I wasn’t expecting, juicy, and PACKED with flavor. If I could’ve rated it higher, I would have. Family owned, and amazingly friendly. This needs to be a stop if you are visiting this part of Connecticut (Fairfield and the surrounding towns). Amazing job!!!!“

“I work 10 min down the road at Sikorsky Aircraft. My dinner break is only 30 minutes (7:30pm-8:00pm). My coworkers and I use the Pancheros app at least once a week to place our order and select the pick up time of 7:45pm. Not only is our order ready for pick up exactly on time, every time, but our food is always made correctly and always tastes amazing! Additionally, by using the app, we are able to earn a free burrito once we total 100 points (Basically, after every 4-5 orders we are eligible one free burrito). I cannot say enough good things about Pancheros in Shelton,, the food is always fresh and delicious, the service is always amazing plus the prices are great too! We simply can’t live without them. I am devastated to learn of this “temporary closing” that I was just made aware of today. May I ask what the temporary closing is about and is there any ETA for when you expect to be back open? (I know there is another location in Wallingford, but I wish there were more Pancheros around the area because it blows chipotle out of the water!).“
