Ashley is extremely professional, kind, talented, and efficient. On top of the cookies being absolutely perfect and even better than I expected, they tasted amazing.“

And, at least by local standards, their sandwiches are reasonably-priced. I offen grab a to-go sandwich and eat it quietly on a rock along the nearby Shepaug River. Whether you get cookies, blondies or even their brownies, you are guaranteed to want more.The staff are very nice, and they will even tell you what cookies they recommend. When you walk in you smell the sweet smell of cookies and sugar and not to mention everything else they sell. You also see the endearing environment. “This is a very tiny shop, but they have seating outside for the warmer weather. Ovens Of France is the best bakery outside of those one might find in Greenwich, CT. I live in Guilford, and it's worth the trip to Woodbury to buy their products. Try the chocolate mousse cake. It's the absolute best. I buy one and freeze slices, it lasts for months. The eclaires don't have overly sweet pudding in the center but a rich cream. The croissants are like nothing you'll ever find elsewhere. They open early, like 6am, for early birds.Parking: They are in a shopping center. The parking is always plentiful and close.“

“Wonderful little pastry and bakery shop. The place might be small but gosh! The quality is really high. I walked away with the Tres Leches (3 milk) cake and their Coconut cream tart as well as a slice of pound cake to snack on. My friend had the same coconut cream tart and ordered a bunch of their cookies - neither of us were complaining. I practically inhaled my tres leches cake. The owner is friendly as well. When I asked her which 3 milks did she use for her tres leches cake, I asked because the recipe I use has coconut milk. She said that she can't use coconut milk because "this is Connecticut" which I'm guessing means that even something as bland as coconut milk is probably too exotic for Connecticut WASPs. Still I hope this place sticks around because her offerings are wonderful and Woodbury needs some a dose of exoticness.“

“11.17.23 Upon walking in you'll love the fresh smell of baked goods. It took me a good 10 minutes to decide what to get because everything looked so good. Quick service. Easy parking. Small indoors but enough tables for me to sit and enjoy my snacks.“

“Came here on the way to the Hidden Valley Preserve and we are so glad we did! We absolutely LOVED the full Monte. Its actually addicting, i must get another hahahaMy mom loved her grilled ham egg and cheese. The pop tart and sookie cookie were such a pleasant surprise too! It tasted like a brownie, so so good. We plan to definitely be back again for all of it!Everyone was also very nice and friendly, even when the place was pretty full!“

“We were planning on eating at the Market Place Tavern but we made a detour when we saw the bakery sign. We took a peek in to check their hours and then went up to the next level to have lunch. We bought some treats and an americano and a cappuccino and went on our merry way. The almond cookie was the best of the bunch and was outstanding. The fresh filled cannoli was also great and the raspberry hand pie was delicious. We didn't try the bread but I'll save that for next time.“

“Just celebrated my Mom's 85th with a beautiful cake from Cutie Pies. The owner was very helpful in creating my Mom's favorite cake with Lemon and Strawberry flavors. The cake was beautiful, delicious, reasonably priced and ready on time. Best of all, my Mom loved it. Would highly recommend!“

“ORIGIN: The cafe is one of several Bantam-based offshoots associated with Arethusa Dairy Farm in Litchfield. LOCATION: Arethusa A Mano is located on the main thoroughfare that crosses Bantam. At times the parking lot is crowded, but parking behind Arethusa Dairy across the street is a good alternative. FOOD and BEVERAGES: The cafe serves sandwiches and baked goods that are not commonly found in this area. For example, cronuts -- a flaky cross between a donut and croissant can be found in the pastry case. Likewise, beverages with unique flavors, such as gingerbread latte are prepared and served. AMBIANCE: Beside the order counter and display case are many cafe tables. The white panel walls are fitted with photos from the farm associated with the cafe. Large windows wrap across two sides, allowing a sun-filled dining area.“

“Hardcore cupcakes are genuinely the best cupcakes I have ever had. The cupcakes are the perfect texture, and they have the perfect amount of moisture. Personally I do not like super sweet frosting on cupcakes, the frosting on these cupcakes is amazing its not too sweet or strong but just right. Every time I've been there the workers are very nice, patient and understanding while I am indecisive about what flavors I want. The actual store is very cool inside the decorations are bright and interesting. I haven't had much other things from here but they do look amazing, and I can't wait to try more!“

“Charming bagelry with Cafe tables inside and out. Counter service for ordering was fast and efficient. There were plenty of whimsical paintings that covered the walls, depicting "bagel people" and small town shops and scenes. Bagel was fresh. I had multigrain with hummus, and it wasn't busy on a weekday after lunch.“
