“This review is long overdue. As someone who has searched far and wide for authentic Ghanaian food, this place is truly exceptional. Nearly a year later, I still find myself thinking about the groundnut soup, waakye, shito, puffs, and especially the beef patties.
I drove over an hour in traffic with my mom—who was hesitant to try West African food after a previous bad experience—and one bite of the peanut butter soup changed everything. We even invited a friend to join us just so we could order more dishes.
The beef patties deserve special recognition. As the owner of a patty catering company, I don't say this lightly: they are among the best I've ever had. The flavor and texture were outstanding.
I genuinely hope they never change a thing. I'd happily make the trip again and again just for this food. If proximity to a restaurant were a reason to buy a house, this place would be at the top of my list.

The food was so flavorful and tasted like the authentic Ghanain I had during my stay in Ghana. Salivating again, thinking about it...“

“I have been seeing fufu all over my TikTok and have been dying to try it. I’m pregnant and couldn’t getting my head. I don’t like seafood so I had it with the melon seed soup. I was concerned it would’ve overwhelmingly melon flavored but was so pleasantly surprised. It was DELICIOUS. Extremely spicy but so tasty.

I have also been craving jerk chicken so I had that. The jerk chicken was good but not like the jerk chicken you’d get in Jamaica which is what I was craving. It’s more like a BBQ jerk chicken fusion. The rice was also very good. The plantains were amazing - I don’t even like plantains, I devoured them. I’ll definitely be back 🤤“
