We ordered Simmered Shitake mushrooms, Lucky Pink Radish, and smashed spicy cucumbers and all were amazing. We also ordered Yaya Balls which are deep fried octopus. My son had them in Japan on a visit a few weeks ago and said they tasted just as good. He was also excited to see a brand of iced tea he had in Japan. “My husband surprised me with a dinner gathering at Red Lotus. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by two staff members and the owner Larry. Gary was our server who I must say was by far the best server we have ever had. Gary and Larry truly made us feel like we were the only ones there (they had a full house) the food was delicious we were a party of 8 and all had different plates none of us were disappointed with our food. The presentation of the plates were beautiful! Larry made sure to come to our table and assure we were satisfied with our food and service took time out to talk with us and build a relationship. When I informed the woman working at the front of my gluten sensitivity, she took time to run through every ingredient and its contents and triple checked there would be no contamination (who knew imitation crab had gluten?). They took my sensitivity very seriously and I’m extremely grateful for that, as this service is rare.
