“We recently celebrated my mother`s 100th birthday at Pulcinellas with about 40 friends and family and everyone is still talking about it ! Linda ensured perfection all around. The pizza, antipasto, entrees (chicken champagne, veal francese, eggplant rolatini, penne a la vodka), and sides were delicious and plentiful. The pistachio BD cake was gorgeous and tasted out of this world! the staff was so attentive to everyone's needs and the piano player added to the festive atmosphere. “We had Mangia Mangia cater our recent rehearsal dinner - it was hands down the best food we have had in a long time. Everything was perfect- Raquel was a tremendous help and she took all the stress away from hosting a large party. I HIGHLY recommend using them for anyone looking for catering a large event. Bladimir, Joline and all the staff were very accommodating- we even called and got 10+pizzas delivered the day after the wedding too!! Huge Hit!!“

“Gisellas has been our favorite go to Italian restaurant in DANBURY since it opened. Food is always delicious and consistent and the wait staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Unfortunately last night we had a different experience the moment we walked in the door. Hostess was very unfriendly and dismissive, no eye contact and acted like she was doing us a favor seating us! “Visiting a friend, and found this place. We went with pizza, well I can eat pizza every day of the week. With that said we ordered a garlic and broccoli. The pie came out and it was a good size pie, however I was expecting a bunch of roasted pieces of garlic. We got garlic powder which is not the same. The pie was good, the food that went by looked even better. If I'm in the area again I will try this place but I'm going for the chicken parm that went by as I was waiting for my pizza.“

The pasta bolognese was rich and flavorful, the chicken cacciatore was perfectly cooked, and the garlic knots were a delicious must-have. We also really enjoyed the fresh combo salad.
