“A surpringly tasty and filling slice, without being bread or doughy. Pretty quiet inside with lots of room to dine in. Aim for the nice corner table with the bumped out windows overlooking the slow pace of quaint Pawling Village.Kid-friendliness: Lots of room, no hassle proprietors.“
“Froggy’s in Pawling has quickly become my favorite breakfast and lunch deli in the Carmel/Patterson/Pawling area. Not only is the food incredible but the prices are also hard to beat. I can trust that every time I go to get a sandwich it will knock my expectations out of the park which is something no other deli has consistently done! Great job to the Froggy’s crew keep up the good work and I’ll be back tomorrow!“
“The graffiti-lettered sign is hard to read from the roadway, but make the effort to check this place out. The food is delicious and affordable. The staff is very friendly. Intimate dining area with two tables. Refreshments and bottled water in the refrigerator. Cash and card accepted. Unpaved parking in front.“
“First time trying Rocco's. Has parking and looks like an old style diner which gives it atmosphere and a look that's not seen much anymore. Wine and beer be fine, they serve both. Pasta dishes and pizza are on the menu. All was well until check out time, when paying. If paying by card, you get charged with a fee. Wish we had known cause tip would have been higher. Part of the tip went for the fee. We'll be back though. Next time we'll pay in cash.“
“I went with my fiancé and kids for the first time to try the food and it was absolutely delicious. The burgers and fries were absolutely delicious and flavorful. We didn't get to try the ice cream/shakes but we have decided that we will return again for lunch and ice cream. Highly recommend the place and prices are reasonable. The owner was also there and very friendly to all customers and made sure they were taken care of enjoyed their meals. Staff was absolutely excellent. Great family place.“
“Let’s be honest. The interior is outdated and leaves a lot to be desired, and the parking lot is a complete mess. However, the customer service is lovely and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the pizza was.Prices are reasonable and everything is fresh and well served. I would personally appreciate a larger menu and having the able pizza types on display to make the ordering process easier. This really seems like a “dial in” joint and it would be nicer if more tables were able to sit. But, given the quality of the pizza, I would happily stop in again.Parking: While spots are available, there is no depth to the parking lot. There is limited visibility on a busy road which depending on the time of day, may or may not be worth the effort.“
“You can’t go wrong ordering from Raymee’s.I have ordered a number of different things and I have never been disappointed, their pizza is the best around. Delivery is never a problem and the owner and staff could not be friendlier.I ordered a tray of lasagna recently for a family gathering and my company couldn’t stop raving about how delicious it was and so cheesy.Like the expression, “try it you’ll like it!”. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“I've been here a few times for dinner. It is one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. The food is always very good. The service is excellent. The staff is always polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend eating here if in the area.“
“Why are there two businesses named Cousins within 1 minute drive from each other that aren't affiliated? This is massively confusing and can't be good for business. Only been here once and shelves were kinda bare. Sandwich wasn't terrible. I'd go here again mainly to support the local businesses.“
“Best deli/grocery in the area. Friendly atmosphere and an amazing selection of products, including a full size walk in humidor. Fresh made salads, house made thin crust pizza, an excellent grill menu, and even a holiday menu including specialty desserts“
“Get pizza and pasta here quite often. Their side salad is great, quality lettuces and fresh veggies. Love their garlic cheese bread and their sausage and mushroom pizza is delish. Also have really enjoyed their linguini with clams at least two times now. Their lobster ravioli special is fabulous and they are so friendly and accommodating!!“
“Bruno's is very middle of the road for its regular pizza, but the speciality pizzas are amazing. Specifically, the buffalo chicken pizza. They call it "world famous" and if it isn't it should be because it's awesome.“
“We ordered takeout on the Slice App. A worker from Fusion called me because I forgot to indicate how I'd like my steak cooked. I appreciated the call! Our food was ready on time and it was fresh and delicious. The restaurant is clean and nicely styled. We plan to go out to eat at the Fusion Tavern in the near future. It's nice to have a local gem like this!“
“The best pizza in the county . Ya don’t believe try n prove me wrong. They feed my family more than I do per week. But most of all you can’t beat the service. They treat us like family as they are family owned and operated from the ladies cooking their butts. They greet us by name and all we have to say the same as usual. I moved up here from the Bronx and they bring me the great food I’m used too. Thank you from our family to yours“
“First of all, bless this place for delivering to a rest area most places won't (Truck driver so we can't go down there). The staff was super nice and friendly, Eta for driver was right. Most importantly the pizza was a good pizza (More towards thin crust with a bit of grease but I love that) and buffalo wings was decent, Like everyone can eat them and not think twice about it (But to be clear im very picky on my wings). So overall I would go here again if im near by and I already told a friend about it. A solid place to get some food and you can't go wrong with them!“
“Asked for extra garlic on half of a large pizza. They actually put slices of garlic on it! ❤️ Slices of garlic! ❤️ I was expecting the usual processed minced garlic, but nope, they sliced garlic to put on my pizza. I'm really impressed. And the pizza was amazing!“
“Quaint pizza place and restaurant. Staff is very friendly and food is tasty. Great for take out or dine in. Menu has a lot of traditional options, as well as some unique ones to satisfy anyone. Prices are very reasonable. Chicken parm always hits the spot!“
“This is one of the best pizzerias in ny outside of nyc !And the owner "iron man" is a true gentleman, he will sit and converse with patrons and make them feel like family. Deffinitly recommendedParking: Plenty of parking except for Friday and Saturday nights it tends to get quite crowded. A true sign of delicious food!“
“BEST EXPERIENCE!! PLEASE EAT HERE!! When I was 10 years old, I fell upon terrible misfortune and found myself homeless on the streets of Great Plain Road. An angel of a man, I believe he is the owner, answered my prayers and talked to me for about 20 min about the meaning of life and the mechanisms of our reality. I was STUNNED, and AFTER AN HOUR I FINALLY came to. Upon regaining consciousness, He proceeded to laugh and say “oh you’re hungry huh”. At this point he told me my pizza had 10 minutes left until it was ready. Had I requested a pizza? What was the purpose of my existence at this point, anyways? He ushered me into the platonic ideal of a pizza shop, and once arrived I asked what had been happening. The owner's wife greeted me, and did not attempt to assault me. The Saviour himself refused what little money I had on my person, and furnished to me a pizza beyond comprehension. Time distorted, and I found God. I have never had an experience like this at ANY restaurant or pizzeria or ANYWHERE. They were even willing to give me a permanent residence at their restaurant with unlimited pizzas for the rest of my life. THEY WERE VERY UNAGGRESSIVE AND THREATENED TO CALL ME THEIR SON. 5/5.Kid-friendliness: Y'all ready know.“
“Although I do not always eat at a the Deli's, it is always my pleasure to dine at one when I find one. Also, go to chain restaurants when traveling, for business or pleasure, but I happily make an exception for this Gino Deli. The quality I receive is always well worth the price, and I was happy to see that they offered so many varieties, as well as so many flavor full foods. I look forward to returning to this Gino Deli, the first chance I get.“
“Amazing and Fabulous food. Portions are beyond generous, definitely huge compliments to the chef and quality of the food. I literally had only seafood tonight and everything was so fresh. Trust me I am a very picky person when it comes to seafood. Our server Betty was amazing and prompt!“
“Pizza and main entrees were outstanding!Disappointed in the calamari appetizer as it was the toughest I've ever had. But we didn't complain or return it, so that's on us.The service was superb!Dietary restrictions: Allergies were taken seriously and served accordingly. Great job ?“
“Our food was perfect. If I took pictures, they could've used them for the website. I mean, just flawless. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. I don't think I've ever had pizza as good from Pizza Hut or Dominos. It was pretty late too, so kudos for the staff not half-assing it. I've worked in the service industry before, and I know when it gets late you may not feel like being at work and I just want to say thanks for killing it. I'll 100% be back here.“
“Good Pizza, Good Camp Fries, Good BBQ Wings. Just Baffled they don't travel 10 minutes to Dover.I did get a little frustrated a couple months ago, when the owner or manager said it doesn't take 10 minutes to go to Dover, as if I was lying.I guess in words of My Cousin Vinny, no pun intended, "the laws of physics must cease to exist in his vehicle". Or Google is lying. Either or, he was wrong!I just feel bad for there delivery driver, and Cousins Pizza. More people would order from them, because the pizza in Dover is Cheeks.?♂️Just saying.“
“Always good food!! I had given up on pizza in the area till Salinas opened. Now it’s the only place we will order from! Love their penne à la vodka and fettuccine Alfredo as well! Owners and staff are ALWAYS polite, helpful and I always feel welcome. Thank you Salinas for giving this area an affordable option with great food!“
“I moved to New Fairfield 1 minute away from Zegarellis. The very first time I went there they had HUGE gourmet slices of pizza In the display case and amazing desserts as well. They have one of the most authentic NY style pizzas I’ve had. Big Mac pizza is incredible as well as lasagna, chicken Marsala, chicken bacon ranch, carbonara pizza, etc. the rest of the menu is spot on. We eat there 1-2 a week lol can’t seem to get enough!! A hidden gem of a restaurant on Fairfield Drive, you will not be disappointed if you go.“
“We've done takeout from Portofino's a few times and it has been consistently good. The pizza is solid and has a good crust and decent amount of toppings for the price. We've enjoyed some pasta as well as the salad that accompanies it. You can order online or call ahead. The staff are friendly and our food is always packed up nicely and ready to go. We'll have to eat in soon. Definitely a solid neighborhood spot.“
“I stopped by Village Pizza on Friday evening, deciding to give them a shot after seeing their wildly delicious flavor combinations on Instagram. I was a little disappointed that when I stopped in, I didn’t see anything too “crazy”—lots of standard styles on display. And personally I think it would have been helpful to have cards indicating what was on each pizza to make the ordering process a little simpler. Still, I happily ordered a slice of Veggie, a Pepperoni Slice, and a Cream Soda to go. And I almost regretted not dining in because the interior is lovely. They had lots of tables and a beautiful view of the center of Pawling.I paid a little over $12 for two slices and a soda and the slices were cut very generously. The service was quick and my pizza was piping hot and stayed so on my 10 minute drive home.I thoroughly enjoyed the toppings on the Veggie pizza and the Pepperoni pizza was refreshing in that there was a perfect balance between cheese and pepperoni. The pepperoni was crispy without being “hard” and neither slice was too greasy. In terms of cons, while I enjoyed the toppings of both pizzas, the texture of the dough was a tad off-putting. The dough on the veggie pizza was a little underbaked while the dough on the pepperoni slice felt over-kneaded resulting in a unappetizing, chewy texture. There’s lots of options on the menu here, so I’ll definitely stop in again to try a few more things out. While not my favorite place in the area, it seems like a pretty reliable spot to get a good slice.“
