“A nice visit opening day followed by ice cream. The grounds were kept pretty well and even with it being pretty busy things moved well. An average sized lot with a single course of 18 holes. The holes were all fairly simple in design. But less frustration from my son thanks to that. We had a great time. A nice family owned spot.“

“J Foster Ice Cream is easily one of the best ice cream spots in the area. The ice cream tastes incredibly fresh and creamy, and you can tell it is made with high-quality ingredients. They offer a great variety of flavors, and every scoop is rich and full of flavor.
The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. The shop itself has a nice, relaxed atmosphere that makes it a perfect place to stop by with friends or family.
If you are anywhere near Avon, this place is absolutely worth the visit. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great ice cream! 🍦“

“We had Ben and Jerry's Catering CT come as a surprise for my niece's graduation party and it was a massive hit! Our server was wonderful! The ice cream was delicious and the toppings were perfect and plentiful. We've had ice cream trucks in the past and this blew them out of the water! I highly recommend! 5 stars!“

“The staff were very helpful and gracious! I loved the chai and pumpkin ice cream and wasn't sure which one to get, so the server suggested that I sample both. Both were amazing, but the pumpkin was my favorite 😍 I shared this gem with all my friends, and will definitely be back!“

“Despite the fact that my area has Friendly's Ice Cream, Foster's Ice Cream and Dairy Queen (all wonderful brands), we seem to gravitate to Carvel. The store smells remarkable (no fried food smell), the sheer simplicity of the menu (ice cream, ice cream and more ice cream) and they have the best soft-serve. Plus 2 for 1 sundaes on Wednesdays makes it a irresistible destination.“

“We came here on a warm spring day after lunch nearby. The store was very cute and clean. It was a little confusing at first on where to enter to order; there were two aisles leading to the counter. There were a few tables inside and outside. The service provided by the employee was friendly and quick.
I had the churro ice cream on a waffle cone; omg, that was so good and tasted like cinnamon toast crunch cereal in milk (as the employee had described). My toddler had the marshmallow sky ice cream, which had marshmallow and chocolate chip cookie dough; he loved it of course. The prices were steep but it was worth it. We ate our ice creams outside on their patio. I really enjoyed my visit and will be back on another cheat day!“

“What an amazing experience!! The cascading waterfalls, scenic walkways, and covered bridges shaded by gorgeous Japanese Maple trees is such a zen mini golf experience. They have something for the whole family including a wooden train and wooden ship play area. There is a beer garden if you want to stop for a cold brew, food, and Italian Ice and ice cream. We had such a great day!“

This is a place where you can relax, and enjoy a sweet treat while taking in the scenery.And the food, worth it for the price, big portion and it will full you up. 10/10 would come back again…. “We happened to come in on a busy night. Tina was our server. Her and the Manager were professional and handled the crowd with no problem. All our ice creams were perfect and it was still a pleasant environment even though every booth was full! Will definitely come back again“

“I'm new in the Bristol area. One day I decided to come eat at friendlys and ever since I've been coming here. They are friendly here, the food is always fresh, neatly served and delicious. I love it and so does my 9 year old daughter. I'd recommend friedlys to others any day , and I do actually. My niece comes here too now with me all the time
Vegetarian options: I see they have broccoli and beef bites I haven't tried the new item yet but I'm sooo looking forward to it ! Yummy
Parking: Parking is free and enough space
Kid-friendliness: The kids love it. They are kind, smile and laugh with the kids and they serve them what the kids ask for. It's so sweet
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for wheelchairs and enough room space to move around.“

“Clean and comfortable place. Yogurt was good. Tons of toppings. You pay by the weight. Was kinda pricey for 2 of us....but I'm probably not used to these prices now a days!! If you bring 2 or 3 kids, it would be quite expensive!! Online opening time says 1pm, but door says 2pm. They opened close to 2pm.“
