“We came here on a warm spring day after lunch nearby. The store was very cute and clean. It was a little confusing at first on where to enter to order; there were two aisles leading to the counter. There were a few tables inside and outside. The service provided by the employee was friendly and quick.
I had the churro ice cream on a waffle cone; omg, that was so good and tasted like cinnamon toast crunch cereal in milk (as the employee had described). My toddler had the marshmallow sky ice cream, which had marshmallow and chocolate chip cookie dough; he loved it of course. The prices were steep but it was worth it. We ate our ice creams outside on their patio. I really enjoyed my visit and will be back on another cheat day!“

“A nice visit opening day followed by ice cream. The grounds were kept pretty well and even with it being pretty busy things moved well. An average sized lot with a single course of 18 holes. The holes were all fairly simple in design. But less frustration from my son thanks to that. We had a great time. A nice family owned spot.“

“J Foster Ice Cream is easily one of the best ice cream spots in the area. The ice cream tastes incredibly fresh and creamy, and you can tell it is made with high-quality ingredients. They offer a great variety of flavors, and every scoop is rich and full of flavor.
The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. The shop itself has a nice, relaxed atmosphere that makes it a perfect place to stop by with friends or family.
If you are anywhere near Avon, this place is absolutely worth the visit. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great ice cream! 🍦“

“Amazing ice cream! I got the Cappuccino flavor on a cake cone. It tasted fresh and had just the right balance of cinnamon to coffee. If you go further into this charming shop, you’ll find some bites to eat. I tried the chicken bites and waffle fries. The service was quick and the food was fresh. Everyone who works here is very nice, and Chase was a pleasure to talk to. Will definitely be returning next time I visit Simsbury.“

“we went earlier this season with the kids.. fantastic...husband like the "extra thick" shake. grandchildren got kiddie cups with super generous portion. “Despite the fact that my area has Friendly's Ice Cream, Foster's Ice Cream and Dairy Queen (all wonderful brands), we seem to gravitate to Carvel. The store smells remarkable (no fried food smell), the sheer simplicity of the menu (ice cream, ice cream and more ice cream) and they have the best soft-serve. Plus 2 for 1 sundaes on Wednesdays makes it a irresistible destination.“

“WE only discovered this branch of the Frisbee group late in 2021, but we are devoted fans now. First off, the ice cream was voted some of the best in CT ( via the Newington store) by Channel 3-TV subscribers. Next, it is the only source for No-Sugar Added ice cream in the Bloomfield area. And the site is lovely, despite the farm now being inactive. There is corn-hole for the kids to play on the spacious lawn, and plenty of parking. Finally, they keep the farm-store open more months of the year than most places, roughly April to November. We can count on a great dessert more than half of the year at Frisbee's .“

Crumbl Cookies is excellent! The cookies are always fresh, soft, and full of flavor. I love how they have different flavors every week, and every cookie I’ve tried has been amazing. “I'm new in the Bristol area. One day I decided to come eat at friendlys and ever since I've been coming here. They are friendly here, the food is always fresh, neatly served and delicious. I love it and so does my 9 year old daughter. I'd recommend friedlys to others any day , and I do actually. My niece comes here too now with me all the time
Vegetarian options: I see they have broccoli and beef bites I haven't tried the new item yet but I'm sooo looking forward to it ! Yummy
Parking: Parking is free and enough space
Kid-friendliness: The kids love it. They are kind, smile and laugh with the kids and they serve them what the kids ask for. It's so sweet

“We had Ben and Jerry's Catering CT come as a surprise for my niece's graduation party and it was a massive hit! Our server was wonderful! The ice cream was delicious and the toppings were perfect and plentiful. We've had ice cream trucks in the past and this blew them out of the water! I highly recommend! 5 stars!“
