Brushmill By The Waterfall

I'm 51 and I used to go here when it was called the Charthouse with my family in the 1970's. I would always order filet mignon and chocolate mousse for dessert. The fire would be blazing in the winter and the view of th waterfall was always amazing. The Brushmill has been renovating since I've been moved back to take care of my parents and I look forward to enjoying the food and ambiance and view once more. The view is very nice. The waterfall is amazing. You feel home inside the restaurant. The servant was nice and polite. The orange Salmon was very delicious. The cheeseburger was very good. The buffalo chicken wings were spicy but very tasty. The fries were good and the salad was perfect.I do recommend going there. You will definitely enjoy the food and the view. However, the beef ribs were bland and it took the waiter 3 trips to the kitchen to make it well done like we asked....read full review

Your feelings about the Brushmill will all depend on exactly your reason for going there. If you're going to dine on the prime rib, you'd rate this 5 stars. If you're going for anything else, you'd give this restaurant 3 stars. The prime rib is very good- order the large "queen size" piece, or the gargantuan "king size" slab- enough to feed 2-3 mortal sized appetites.
