“A Rustic Gem with Unforgettable Seafood and Service!

My dining experience at The Log Cabin Restaurant deserves every one of its five stars. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was captivating—it successfully blends rustic charm with a touch of elegance, making for a cozy yet sophisticated setting. Even the restrooms were spotless, which always speaks volumes about an establishment's commitment to cleanliness.
Our afternoon started with incredibly generous complementary side dishes. We were first served a refreshing bowl of vegetables with a lovely four seasons dressing and garlic cream, followed by a large, comforting bowl of pasta topped with excellent tomato sauce and freshly baked crisp bread with butter.This impressive start really set the stage for the rest of the meal.
For our main courses, the quality and quantity were truly excellent and generous. I highly recommend the Baked Scrod, which was perfectly prepared and flaky. We also ordered the twin lobster tails, which were succulent and served with a perfectly baked potato, plenty of melted butter, and sour cream. Everything was fresh, hot, and seasoned beautifully.
Beyond the food, the service was outstanding. Our hostess, Amy, was exceptionally helpful and displayed a wonderfully pleasant attitude, ensuring we felt welcome and taken care of throughout our visit.
The Log Cabin Restaurant is an absolute must-try if you're looking for delicious seafood, generous portions, and a beautiful, unique dining environment. We will certainly be back!“

“Excellent!! Crab cake appetizer was the "best I've ever had" according to my son. There were four of us and all were very pleased. I've been twice and looking forward to going back. This restaurant is definitely the place to go when you want to take your time between courses and enjoy the food and people you are with. I like the 20% service charge(tip) added to bill. Keeps paying thoughtless as service is excellent. 5 stars on everything!“

They were packed and after waiting for a while for my take out order (understandable for a busy night) they confessed and profusely apologized because in the rush of the busy evening one of my pizzas had been dropped. Without missing a beat they promised my pizzas would be remade and delivered to my house…. Half hour away!!! That is stellar customer service!!! “The food here is top quality, NYC style cuisine. Every time we come we have a delicious meal. Tge steak is always perfectly cooked, the salads have clean crisps dressings and the vegetables are nicely presented. I have two things that bug me every time. One, I wish they would improve the decor in the dining room. It is so plain and almost Russian at this point. Second, some of the servers are inexperienced and they reach across you and interrupt you to clear the table at the end of the meal (we were about to leave.)“

“We visited last night for the first time since it was Oliver‘s Tavern years ago. We were so impressed from the moment we walked in the door. We opted to go upstairs to the beautiful bar area for appetizers and happy hour drink specials. The food was phenomenal (we had incredible nachos, which were loaded with beef and the fantastic, huge warm pretzel with cheese sauce) and the service was phenomenal as well! Every server and staff member was so attentive and super friendly ! Can’t wait to go back for another great experience and maybe take advantage of some nice weather and sitting out by the fire tables outside.“
