“I’ve always had a great experience at Himalaya Cafe. You can tell that all the staff takes a lot of pride in their craft. The food is by far the best around and is reasonably priced. The ambiance is clean, warm and relaxing and the service is always very friendly. One of my favorite restaurants around!“

“Came here for the first time today. I've been wanting to try for awhile. Amazing place. Love the menu! So many different things to choose from. Tons of veggie options. I had a veggie melt with broccoli, eggplant, onions, sundried tomatoes and cheese. It was amazing! If you haven't been, great eats for breakfast and lunch!“

“The vermicelli chicken noodle bowl was absolutely delicious—I didn’t know my chopsticks could move that fast! I paired it with the Honey Lime Green Tea, so refreshing and such a treat. If I’m ever passing through Madison on 95, I’ll definitely stop again.“

“We pulled in here on a whim earlier today and were lucky enough to guy something right before they closed for the day. Carrot cake was amazing. Hard to believe it’s soy free, dairy free, and gluten free. Really made my wife’s birthday special. Highly recommend this place, whether you have relevant food allergies or not.“

“Dinner was very good. We went for the $39 fixed price menu as the choices were to our liking. Started with the shredded kale salad (which should have been cut into smaller "shreds" as it was hard to eat) and the polenta with gorgonzola sauce. Very tasty. Salmon and coq au vin for entrees. Perfect size portions and delicious. Desserts were disappointing. Vanilla gelato with caramel sauce was basically a decent vanilla ice cream with a few drizzles of caramel which looked like the dessert had been pre-made and came out of the freezer. Lemon mousse crepes were odd. A crepe - nothing in it - with a dollop of lemon mousse on top that you had to spread over the crepe? Glasses of wine were expensive ($21 each) but good. Tyler was our waiter and he was great. Very attentive, helpful, knew the menu and ingredients, paced our courses and we didn't feel rushed. Ambiance was nice as we sat in the main room with the high ceiling. And the bread was fabulous. Definitely worth the $$ for the fixed price menu. I'd suggest other dessert choices thoiugh. We will be back for the regular menu!“

“Honestly originally came here thinking it was a typical tavern. Left having one of the best food experiences I have ever had! The food was amazing and so perfectly prepared I have been back countless times since and am always recommending them to friends and family. “I’ve been thinking about Jia Mei’s dry cooked food. Today I tried the 5 Spice prawns which was served of a bed of warm lettuce, red peppers, and fresh sliced chilis. It was delicious, flavorful, colorful, and spicy. This cooking technique is a style of Chinese cooking which is hard to find on the shoreline. Yum!“

“For those who are vegan or (like me) lactose intolerant, this place has amazing choices. Try the Vegan stuffed french toast or the vegan pancakes. It is a must stop on our annual trips to and from Cape Cod, I only wish it was closer to White Plains.“

“We visited last night for the first time since it was Oliver‘s Tavern years ago. We were so impressed from the moment we walked in the door. We opted to go upstairs to the beautiful bar area for appetizers and happy hour drink specials. The food was phenomenal (we had incredible nachos, which were loaded with beef and the fantastic, huge warm pretzel with cheese sauce) and the service was phenomenal as well! Every server and staff member was so attentive and super friendly ! Can’t wait to go back for another great experience and maybe take advantage of some nice weather and sitting out by the fire tables outside.“

“The staff were very sweet and attentive! There were many small details which made it special- a little flower rose on the straw, beautiful decorative edges to the vegetables, soooo yummy (M- curry) and simple decor with rich accents. Loved the sitting area!“
