“I’ve always had a great experience at Himalaya Cafe. You can tell that all the staff takes a lot of pride in their craft. The food is by far the best around and is reasonably priced. “Came here for the first time today. I've been wanting to try for awhile. Amazing place. Love the menu! So many different things to choose from. Tons of veggie options. I had a veggie melt with broccoli, eggplant, onions, sundried tomatoes and cheese. It was amazing! If you haven't been, great eats for breakfast and lunch!“

“We pulled in here on a whim earlier today and were lucky enough to guy something right before they closed for the day. Carrot cake was amazing. “This is a must stop for anyone visiting CT- if you're from CT I am sure you have to know how great this place is-I am so glad I stopped in on my vacation. This was hands down some of the best food I have ever eaten! The cocktails were masterfully created amd perfectly balanced. Pasta made in house and cooked perfectly al dente, the penne ala vodka with guanciale was the the absolute best I have ever had! Honey nut squash with whipped ricotta and pumpkin seed pesto was such a treat and a perfectly balanced bite. The service was impeccable, lovely wait staff that are so attentive. 10 out of 10“

“I’ve been thinking about Jia Mei’s dry cooked food. Today I tried the 5 Spice prawns which was served of a bed of warm lettuce, red peppers, and fresh sliced chilis. It was delicious, flavorful, colorful, and spicy. This cooking technique is a style of Chinese cooking which is hard to find on the shoreline. Yum!“

“Everything was great about our dinner and experience!! The atmosphere sitting outside and having dinner was fantastic! Our server was great!! Personable, friendly, knowledgeable and not intrusive, just the way it should be! Had a nice chat with her! Our drinks were delicious and the dessert was a perfect treat. “This is was my first time here. Menu is great. Has 2 columns (breakfast and lunch) listed as vegan. Which makes it so much easier to choose. And they ask about allergies so you know there is no contamination from things you don’t want your food touching I ended up getting vegan berry French toast. Made mistake of putting maple syrup which made it way too sweet and sadly took away from deliciousness that toast was. (Try it first before you pour maple on top of it) Didn’t care for coffee much. I’m very picky about mine and most diner coffees I don’t like. My only complaint is they open at 8 am. Wish they opened earlier.“
