The Trophy Room in Storrs, CT is hands down one of my favorite spots in town. Whether you’re looking to unwind after a long day or kick off a night out with friends, this place never misses. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cozy and lively, and the drink selection is always on point.

What really sets Trophy Room apart, though, are the bartenders—especially Olivia and Allison. These two are absolute stars behind the bar. They’re not only incredibly skilled at crafting top-notch cocktails, but they also bring such good energy to the place. Friendly, attentive, and always down for a quick chat or a solid recommendation, they make you feel right at home every time.

“So this is definitely a small town local watering hole buuuuuuuut… the minute you walk in, whether you’ve been a regular for 20 years or it’s your first visit to the eagle you will feel welcomed by staff and patrons alike. The staff is top notch (and honestly a great steal for the locals to enjoy in the cocktail mastery of this place)! They create their own drinks like master mixologists, and the good ole regular drinks are stiff and reasonably priced. There’s always a friend to be made and a good time to be had!!! 5+ stars!!!!“

Everything was cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly. Gorgeous old house with fireplace. The home made clam chowder is a such a surprise - best we have had since we were children in Mystic !“

Considering the fact that we go during peak time, the service is always so impressively quick and friendly and even when we have to wait, it's never for long. The food is also delicious and we always have plenty leftover to take home! The specials are so creative and unique, too. Highly recommend if you're looking for a diner with amazing service :)“

“This place is great, i love their ice cream but the real reason i go is for their Spicy Countryside Crisp sandwich. The food here is really good, i also recommend the ham and cheese toastie, the honey mustard on it goes hard. There's also some nice outdoor seating and a fridge with local/indie drinks for sale, as well as Farmers Cow milk and eggs. Solid joint!“

“I came here last night for the first time after a recommendation and so glad we did cause they did not disappoint. The decor is a little dated however we have the nicest waitress Natasha who made the evening so great. She was very prompt and friendly and really funny. The food portions were a generous size and everything we had was really good. We never once asked for water refills, she just kept them coming. Amazing staff. Amazing food. Will be returning to our new local favorite spot in the very near future and hopefully will get the same amazing waitress.“

“Omg! I needed a soup and the soup of the day was barley and beef! Unbelievable! Full of chunks of tender beef, vegetables and barley cooked down to perfection. One could order a bowl of that and make it a full meal. I had already ordered a pulled pork sandwich and a glass of Mediterranean red they had on the special little table menu. Perfect pairing! I will definitely be back. So glad I discovered this place. The chef knows how to cook. Now I understand why the parking lot was packed. The wait staff is so unbelievably friendly, too. “I went with a large group, and the service was wonderful. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and we had plenty of leftovers. If you need a place to eat after the Renaissance Fair, this is a perfect location to enjoy a meal. We will definitely be back again.

And a ton of different stuff bottled or on tap. And last but not least their prime rib...... brrrruuuuhhhhh. They have the best prime rib ive eaten at any restaraunti n ct. “I ordered a cheese steak and a six pack. I am new to the area, having just bought land and I am very pleased with this place. They took a bit long, over an hour, to deliver but I am satisfied. They included a bag of chips, and a pickle! I'm not even a fan of pickles but this was crunchy and tasty! The cheese steak was excellent! Also it was still hot by the time it got to me! I asked for the cheapest six pack and they brought me Narragansett light. I have never heard of this beer but it is refreshing and enjoyable! I am only giving your stats because it took a bit longer than expected but seeing as I only ordered a sandwich I can understand if they saved my delivery for last. In the end I got a hot delicious sandwich and cold delicious beer. I will add them to my phone book right away!“
