The Trophy Room in Storrs, CT is hands down one of my favorite spots in town. Whether you’re looking to unwind after a long day or kick off a night out with friends, this place never misses. What really sets Trophy Room apart, though, are the bartenders—especially Olivia and Allison. These two are absolute stars behind the bar. They’re not only incredibly skilled at crafting top-notch cocktails, but they also bring such good energy to the place. Friendly, attentive, and always down for a quick chat or a solid recommendation, they make you feel right at home every time.

“The spring hill inn... oh my. Do I have so much say about it. When it comes to food, the best ive ever tasted. The chocolate lava cake, the choclate that seems out is beutiful chocolatly perfection. All wrapped in soft cake. The pasta is amazing, my favorite. My absolute favorite. Just thinking about it makes me want to drive there right now and buy five plates of the chicken parm a la vodka. The creamy sauce with a perfectly umami balanced taste. Alongside the cultural aspects of the resturant. When you enter, its a classic diner setting, when you walk jnt here is a side table showing a bit of Nepali culture, beautifula nd imformative display. The people. Amazing, no words. So nice, always make you feel like family and serve you with so much joy, making you left even happier. “I came here last night for the first time after a recommendation and so glad we did cause they did not disappoint. The decor is a little dated however we have the nicest waitress Natasha who made the evening so great. She was very prompt and friendly and really funny. The food portions were a generous size and everything we had was really good. We never once asked for water refills, she just kept them coming. Amazing staff. Amazing food. Will be returning to our new local favorite spot in the very near future and hopefully will get the same amazing waitress.“

“There's something special about the old burger stands. And the men and women who work them!! Every time I come to Toms the food is great, service is friendly- regardless of how busy they are, and they are fighting this cold before us all to get there before us so we can have a delicious HOT breakfast or lunch 😋 I can't say enough good things about this classic burger stand“

Six years later, absolutely thrilled to see how welcoming and phenomenal everything remains.

I did want to update my review after seeing there being a complaint about the prices of food. Seeing how *consistent* their prices are is remarkable, and above and beyond that the value is particularly noteworthy.

Altogether from the quality (and *portions*) of the food, to the amazing staff, definitely a place to come to and make a regular stop.“

“Today was my first time eating here and I'll say right now that I will be back. This place reminds me a bit of a cozy diner.

We took my fiancé's dad here for an early birthday lunch. He was craving their calamari and onion rings and he said they hit the spot today. My fiancé got one of the daily specials (rodeo burger, I think) with sweet potato fries and I got the cheeseburger club plate with onion rings.

Come here with a big appetite, the expectation of a to go box or both! Portions here are very generous! We came home with at least half our rings and fries and I had part of my club sandwich left as well. A good portion of the calamari went into a to go box as well - that will make at least another two meals for my fiance's dad.

My burger club was very good! I wasn't given a choice on the doneness of my burger, but that wasn't a problem for me. My fiancé pronounced his burger as one of the better ones he's had in a while.

This place is very busy on Sundays and they close early (about three p.m. or so.) We did have to wait a little after we were seated for service, but that service was pretty good! Our food was as we wanted it and we got the things we asked for (cocktail sauce, extra cokes, etc.) despite our waitress running herself crazy to and from all her tables.

Prices were pretty decent for what we got (my plate was about $15.95 or so) The menu had a lot of variety - breakfast items, steaks, burgers and sandwiches, and salads. There is also a cabinet full of a variety of cakes at the front of the restaurant and they looked delicious!“

“Hands down my favorite spot for wings. So many flavors.... dry seasoned or sauce.... whatever mood your in.... youll find wings to match it. Great beer. And a ton of different stuff bottled or on tap. And last but not least their prime rib...... brrrruuuuhhhhh. They have the best prime rib ive eaten at any restaraunti n ct. Do i recommend bidwell...... YES. Stupid question“

“The nostalgia around this place is out of this world. Heard Sue Bird and Diana Turasi brag about it while watching the final four and I can see why. Owners are always working, staff is one of the best in business, food is always warm, and the beer is always cold. What more could you ask for!
