“I first went to Greg Street pizza because my son told me he saw it on Bristol Pizza, and after my first visit, I then heard it was on diners, drive-ins, and dives! From my first sample slice I have loved this pizza! They ask you if you want the Parmesan and oregano which is their standard and of course I said yes! I have had plain, mushroom, bacon, hot honey, and pepperoni, and they are all amazing, but I found I like any of them the best when I reheat them in my toaster oven which makes all edges crunchy and even more delicious!! Eating inside is a rare opportunity because this place is always busy no matter what, I ordered four pies two days in advance to make sure that I could get what I needed because they get so busy. Sometimes they stop taking orders for same day. Something unusual is that you can stop in and grab a slice of whatever they have in the pizza case, which most pizzerias do not offer nowadays. Definitely a must try, but unless you’re getting just a slicer too order ahead of time and don’t plan on eating inside.Enclosing something should be said about their decor inside their small eating area. It is decorated with some amazing posters and prints from their journeys to some of what I am sure were amazing concerts of the Grateful Dead and Dead based bands. Do not miss the opportunity to experience Grigg Street Pizza!!!Parking: Due to this being located on a side street with only two parking spaces in front and off of Greenwich Avenue which is a one-way it is extremely difficult to get a parking space although when we went to pick up and couldn’t find parking, we called and they came right out front with our order when it was ready!“
“Explore something new with the Saag Paneer Pizza. This creative spin features spiced spinach and paneer, bringing the classic Indian dish saag paneer onto a pizza. It's a unique and delicious option for those seeking diverse flavors in their pizza choices.“
“Ollie's 99 is the first restaurant that I'm aware of in Connecticut that serves dim sum and pizza! The Chef's Special sesame chicken caught our eye right away, and it was very tasty! With pizza and dumplings being some of our favorite foods, this spot was a win for us! The kale salad was very fresh, and the kung pao chicken roll was perfect for us to split with our lunch. We had a nice sunny seat by the window, and the restaurant had a relaxing vibe. The food arrived quickly, and our server was attentive. Definitely a unique spot in Greenwich that sets itself apart from the other Asian restaurants in town!“
“My wife and I came from Long Island because we had tickets to the Palace Theater. I heard this was the best bar pizza around and it really is. Between the pizzas, atmosphere and service, I am looking forward to my next trip to Stamford. We had the hot oil pizza and an onion pizza. Try the onion pizza. So good.“
“I started going to Amore a couple years ago. When we parked it looked very quaint , We walked in and it was like stepping into little Italy the staff will go up and above to make u meal fantastic. There us a area to sit outside when its warm and its so nice in doing so I would recommend it. My family has also spent many holidays here and the atmosphere and food is amazing as always but u need not just go for a Holiday any day is fantastic at Amore. Now the main reason for going here is the food is out of this world just like my nana and mom cooked and how I do so. As in the name Amore we love u food and reservations are highly recommended ??“
“Love a Greek pizza spot! Truly some of the nicest and friendliest staff ever! Pizza was ehhh but the experience made up for it for sure. I had a personal ziti pizza. The person I was with had a personal pizza with chicken and gyro. We shared the cheesy garlic bread which was very good (ask for a side of sauce to go with)“
“Food and service were great. Place was very busy on a Saturday night. Plenty of parking. We had calamari, burrata, and meatballs for appetizers; linguini, veal, chicken and gnocchi main course. Food was delicious. I will recommend going. At times, it got very noisy.“
“Wonderful place! Everything about our visit was excellent. We were greeted by friendly staff and were seated quickly. The restaurant was clean and decorated for the season (Valentine's Day). We ordered our appetizers: pasta fagioli and Caesar salad and were not disappointed. For an entree we had broccoli rabe pizza which the chef modified for our vegetarian diet. It was delicious. The crust was thin and had the right amount of crunch. The rabe was the right amount of garlicky. We should have each ordered our own! And dessert! Who knew that vanilla ice cream dowsed in good, hot espresso could be so sublime. The homemade Limoncello shot, rounded off a lovely lunch. We have been to Bari before and will return every chance we get. Big Mike, Johnny and the staff bring southern Italy to Stamford. No passport needed.Maria and MarkRhode IslandVegetarian options: The chef modified for us.“
“Had a lovely breakfast this morning. Had the egg white, spinach, feta n tomato wrap. It was beautifully prepared as was everyone else's meal. Service was on point from Heidi and she was a breath of fresh air. This restaurant has been around for so many years and I'm happy to report it gets better with age. BTW the owner is a delight and greets you with a genuine smile. Will definitely be back.“
“This place has the best food ive ever had from a deli. The staff is super friendly and kind, and the food is just too good. I got their chicken cutlet special and i was amazed. The pizza is top tier italian pizza. Just amazing. If you live in stamford or ever pass by, i highly suggest you go check it out.“
“BIG fan of this place! While there’s plenty of pizza options in Stamford you HAVE to try some of the specials! The chicken scarpiello pizza is unlike anything I’ve ever had. The service is FANTASTIC. We had a small wine spill and they offered to switch tables for us. Prices very reasonable. Don’t let the white tablecloths fool you, feel free to dress up or dress down. Will be back!“
“Hands down the BEST pizzeria in Stamford whether it’s dine in, order or take out. They are beyond kind to my little kids. The food is amazing. The friendliest, cleanest and yummiest in stamford and there are a ton of pizzerias in stamford. Totally a family favorite.“
“I recently ordered from Bryams Pizza Company, and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed! I work security and can't leave my post so I'm hesitant to order from places I've never ate . I tried their spinach & tortellini along with a Philly cheese steak, and both were exceptionally delicious. What caught my eye was not just the amazing taste but also the impeccable packaging - everything arrived perfectly intact. Moreover, their delivery was surprisingly quick, which made the entire experience even better. I highly recommend Bryams Pizza Company for their fantastic food, top-notch packaging, and prompt service. Can't wait to order again!“
“Great place. I stopped in for lunch. The lunch specials spiked my interest. I ordered a wrap and whike I was waiting I had the best eggplant slice I have had in Westchester County. And the owner was extremely friendly I will definitely come back. Great atmosphere and great prices.“
“It was Valentine's Day so our expectations were not high. It turned out the service was very good and so was the food. No long wait. Only issue was being seated near the door with the cold air constantly blowing in at us. We would go back again in a heartbeat and just sit somewhere else.“
“This restaurant never fails to impress. Constantly exceptional service and delicious food! They recently helped us surprise my sister on her birthday with incredible hospitality. Their thoughtful gestures and tasty menu make every visit a delight. Highly recommend for both their fantastic food and outstanding service?“
“the atmosphere was amazing, the staff was pleasant and very personable, the food was delicious and desert the chocolate bomb I believe that's the name was the perfect ending to a wonderful service also the waitress helped me pick out a non-alcoholic drink cucumber something I'm horrible with names that's why I haven't mentioned theirs because they definitely gave it I'm just horrible with remembering anyway....if you're in Stamford area go there you'll meet them tell them Emma sent you you won't regret it I live in New Jersey and will go back“
“Amazing homemade pasta! Chicken cutlet to die for! Even the simple Arugula Salad is so delicious! Service was super friendly. Chef came over and chatted with us - great guy! We have eaten there several times now and always top notch food.Gave 4 for atmosphere as a bit loud when we got there, but calmed down significantly.“
“It's a great Sicilian slice just different than it used to be not as thick as before but still a great crust pomodoro sauce and nicely cheesed. Has a true Brooklyn sauce taste as it always has. What surprised me is the crust is now thinner square than typical Sicilian but has the chew and bottom of a Brooklyn Sicilian slice.Rivals Glenville Pizzeria for best Sicilian.“
“Oh, Napoletana! I've been there a few times and I have to say, it's absolutely amazing! The food is incredibly delicious, and the flavors are so authentic. Every dish I've tried has been a burst of flavor in my mouth. ??Not only is the food top-notch, but the service is also exceptional. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. They make you feel welcomed and ensure that you have a great dining experience. One thing I really appreciate about Napoletana is how clean and well-maintained the place is. It's evident that they take pride in their establishment and pay attention to every detail. It creates a pleasant and inviting atmosphere for guests. If you're looking for a restaurant with great food, delicious flavors, friendly service, and a clean environment, Napoletana is definitely the place to go! I highly recommend it. Enjoy your meal, Samuel! ?️?“
“So the positive is-My order was done in a timely fashion, the serving was a good size and the flavor was pretty good. The negative is-the order could have been packaged more securely because it was just in a bag and not sealed. My steak and cheese wedge was REALLY toasted dark, with the edges of the bread charred and it was unusually greasy. Not sure if I’d be in a rush to go back, maybe I just got them on an off day?Because my order was through a delivery app I can’t rate on atmosphere“
“Wow, so delicious. Packed on a Saturday night, and it's not just because of the ambiance. The food was quick and delicious. I had the bucatini with zucchini and it was so special; savory and rich without feeling heavy. The cocktail list is small but the tequila mule was pretty good. We ordered a ton of food - three appetizers, two mains, two desserts, a cocktail, sparkling water and one soda and the bill came to just under $200 which felt really reasonable. My jeans feel tight and that is fine for me because it was worth every calorie.“
“It’s not high end French. It’s all around great American. Very good food. Large portions. Very friendly atmosphere. My favs are the end cut prime rib and the Liguini with clams. Not on the same night. The specials are also great. Tonight I had Duck. Prices are very reasonable.“
“I absolutely LOVE coming here. First of all- I am a born and raised New Yorker and finding Pizza by the slice comparable to what I have grown up on is impossible. THIS PLACE GETS IT! I come for pizza slices during my lunch break and have also come for dinner trying their variety of pasta. I have yet to be disappointed. The chicken Scarpariello is my favvvv. 10/10. The customer service is always personable and that’s so important.“
“Papa Joe’s is an excellent southern Italian restaurant. Very good food, a nice wine list and reasonably priced.Kid-friendliness: The staff is very kind and patient. This is very much a family restaurant which young, middle and older clients frequent.Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is on one level and easily accessed from sidewalk.“
“True pizza spot in Stamford flavorful slices gourmet slices are $5. White slice is very tasty. Crust is light flaky airy crisp with a good char and more flavor than Slice. Overall place continues to impress. Have done vodka chicken Parm hero / wedge before and didn't disappoint.“
“It is a new pizzeria in the town, the place is very nice and neat, I personally recommend you try the Lasagna pizza that I loved and on top of that I brought home an Alfredo Pasta with shrimp that was incredible! You really have to try it, I recommend it.“
“Gotta love Sergio's! The pizza is so unique and is cut into a grid like shape! The pepperoni pizza pie was delicious! Also the house salad, phenomenal! The dressing is perfect and the salad comes with a healthy serving of chicken and cheese! 10/10“
“Stamford Hospital crew orders from here all the time and food is always great. Today besides sending amazing food these guys helped with our tiny budget and feed ICU staff. THANK YOU Arcuris and Jammie for stepping up in such a difficult time for all of us ❤❤❤“
“There is no shortage of pizza joints in Harrison and there are 4 within a 5 block radius by my count. NY Pizza Station gets its name from being next to the Harrison Metro-North Railroad station that you can grab a slice or a pie as soon as you get off your commuter train. This used to be the location of Pizza 2000 years ago, but when P2K moved to a new, larger space across the street, one of their old employees decided to open Pizza Station on his own. The menu and formula did not change much from the P2K days. You stick with what works and what your customers like. Being just a short walk from our office, we would come regularly for Pizza Fridays and also order whole pies for special occasions and rainy days. We were such regular customers, that we were once captured by the Google Streetview camera car while walking back on Pizza Friday (our faces were blurred out). The pizza is pure NY Neapolitan style. We like to order fresh pies for delivery or to pick up. They come in 3 sizes, small (14"), large (16") & X-large (18"). The 18" pie barely fits in the box and sometimes the edge has to be folded a little to close the box. They also cut the XL into 10 slices which is unusual in itself. We also love the individual specialty slices like the Chicken Bacon Ranch, Penne ala Vodka and Chicken Bruschetta, which can also be ordered as whole pies. You can't go wrong with a traditional cheese pie, too, but my favorite topping has to be sausage with mushrooms a close second. Why not both? I have yet to try the heroes or pastas, but they do look good. There might be a veal parmagiana hero scheduled for Pizza Friday this week!“
“Joe's has the best pizza in Connecticut! I always get a small "NY Style Cheese Pizza" with Pepperoni that can easily feed two people. RéNapoli (Margherita Pizza) is a second choice fave pizza in Connecticut. I'm unsure about Connecticuters' love of Connecticut Hot Oil Pizza at Riko's, and Sally's Apizza or Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana but not my taste.“
“Very good pizza and a great crust with a distinctive New Haven char. Quite pricey for what you get though. The taste wasn't quite there for me, which is why I rate it four stars. The real attraction at Dante's are their fresh scrumptious cookies if you ask me. I'd definitely drive out of my way to buy more of those!“
“Really great quality food. We usually get the rolls and wedges and they are always very tasty, you can tell that the ingredients are fresh and they are made to order versus just being heated up after sitting all day like some other places. Pizza is also very good. Highly recommend.“
“This is the best pizza in Stamford— I will die on this hill. They have slices & pies. I always order a whole Sicilian & it’s perfect every time. The cannolis are also amazing. Definitely a great small/family business worth supporting!“
“I’m in town for a business trip and was really craving Italian food! Saw the reviews for ZaZa! And let me tell you from the moment I walked in it was too class service. Water continuously filled never empty. I got the spaghetti and spicy meatball. And these I will dream about until I return! They were hands down some of the best meatballs I've ever tasted!!! And we got a pizza brought over by the owner. The place had a Sunday Italian family dinner feel not a stuffy restaurant feel at all! I cant wait to come back!“
“Jimmy's was a complete surprise. After a random stop on the way to JFK Airport, we came across Jimmy's and stopped in. What a delightful little place and wonderful guy. The pizza was terrific and the service from Jimmy was charming. If you're looking for a delicious hybrid between the Greek and New York styles, this is the place.“
“Very popular and comfortable local Italian pizza restaurant. This restaurant offers a great selection of well prepared and tasty Italian style dishes at very reasonable prices combined with friendly and speedy service. Also take out and delivery available. There is both street parking and a parking lot.“
“Not your typical Sicilian more roman style than Sicilian yet very tasty. Have been on a quest for the best Sicilian in the area and while this one had nice char, crispy crust and a robust sauce its more of a square roman pie than a Sicilian. Have nothing bad to say about Chicky's as they put out some of the better pizzas and sandwiches in Stamford. Will return for their fantastic sandwiches and overall this was a good pie just haven't found the holy grail of Sicilian pies yet.....“
“I had a great time until I looked up while eating and saw this old ass blonde Thursday night. Drunk out of her mind looking absolutely disgusting with this equal older chick with these guys. When people are trying to enjoy themselves and this place turns into vulture hour it’s a shame. Clearly they were over 50 what the hell are they doing in there looking like skanks especially the one dressed in black! Whomever that belongs to must be proud!“
“Was looking for a pizza place in town that had wood fire pizza ovens with thicker crust. This place is awesome! The pizza was delicious, we had the mushroom pizza (New England) I think? And then we had the fried calamari and the crispy cauliflower, which was my favorite! It's not a huge restaurant though, it's smaller but they do have a patio as well. The service was friendly and quick. We will definitely come back again when we are in town!“
“FANTASTIC PIZZA. EVEN BETTER SERVICE. I don’t normally write reviews, but these guys absolutely deserve one. I can’t believe I’ve been missing out on Pizza Piazza my whole life, I’ve lived in the area for 20+ years, and now I wish I could have those 20 years back. If only there were more spots like this around that truly cared about the quality of their food, and the experience of their customers. The gentlemen behind the counter made me feel like ive been one of their most loyal customers for years. I will be returning to try more items from their menu very soon! Or I might just get more pizza since it was that good!“
“Had lunch with a buddy here recently. Old school place. Spots like this are a dying breed. We started with shrimp, scungilli, and the arugula salad. The shrimp was disappointing, I would not order again. Buddy had the lasagna which he destroyed, huge portion. I had the blacked salmon special which was very good, nice filet. The broccoli rabe was great, lots of garlic. Looking forward to my next visit.“
“I was very surprised to see only a few stars! This is great pizza, we get it every week. And their chicken tenders, Calzones, chicken parm dinner, etc. are exceptional, better than some restaurants, and far better than another nearby pizza place. It's well run and very clean, they are very friendly and appreciative of your business, and they take pride in their product.“
“BLACKOUT BRUNCH WAS INCREDIBLE! Best place to have an amazing time with amazing friends! This is my second brunch party with them and they do not disappoint! Food and service is above and beyond! This place has become my home away from home! <3“
“Always a good option for a quick and tasty pizza and solid beer selection. We generally sit at the bar. Note the pizza is of a regional variant - thin but still chewy crust, toasted cheese, little tomato. Excellent sausage, and watch out for the stinger peppers, aptly named!.“
“Stopped by for a late lunch. 3pm on a Sunday. No frills old school pizzeria. There was only one guy behind the counter and he was nice to all of the customers during my stay. Told us to take a seat and brought our pizza to our table. The grandma slice hit the spot. Sweet garlicky tomato sauce. Got an eggplant calzone that I def recommend. Loaded with crunchy bites of breaded eggplant, ricotta and mozzarella with a side of sauce. A good deal for the price.“
“I stopped at this cute little place for a quick bite as I was traveling North. When I walked in I was not sure how or what to order. The kind man gave me options, clarified the nuggest were real chicken not nuggets from McDonald's, I was concerned about how long it would take since I was on a quick stop for food. They were fast, like 5 min and the chicken is literally the best chicken nuggets I have ever eaten. Thank you!“
“I have been going to Fortina since they first opened in 2013. Fortina and Decicco's, both located in Armonk Square, were a shot in the arm to downtown Armonk at the time and they both have become institutions in town. Fortina strikes a perfect balance of modern takes on italian food while offering an authentic experience with excellent homemade pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and other "wood-fired" offerings coming out of their ovens. Their menu has few blind spots as everything I have had has always been delicious. I always look forward to new seasonal additions and tweaks over the years. On our most recent trip, we tried their wood-fired wings for the first time. They came out piping hot and juicy. The calabrian chili and maple sauce was delicious paired with the green goddess dressing. For an entree, I had the gnocchi (which I had previously via takeout, and I knew I had to try fresh in the restaurant next time I went). The pan seared gnocchi has a thick, almost creamy pistachio pesto drizzled with brown butter and cheese - it was fantastic. Inside Fortina has a great vibe with a rustic but modern feel of the wood covered walls adorned with eccentric art including a portrait of Bill Murray from the life aquatic which has been there since opening. Service is friendly and relaxed. Fortina is always a great choice for some of the best pizza and pasta in the County as well as an excellent weekend brunch.“
“Ate here on a Saturday morning around 9am. Most people got food to go while we were there, but you can dine-in. They have more seating around the corner, but they only opened half of the front part. High chairs are available-they were around the corner, not in plain view. It wasn't on the menu, but they were able to make a breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, cheese on a roll for my partner. My partner enjoyed the sandwich. I had a breakfast burrito with long slices of chorizo. I liked that the burrito was grilled so the outside was crispy. It would have been better if the cheese was more evenly distributed and there were too many potatoes for my preference. But still a solid and filling burrito. I could only finish half of it. Staff were friendly and nice.“
“Fairfield Pizza’s Cos Cob location has a sublimely friendly and service oriented staff. They want you to be made happy by enjoying their food and it shows. The cheese pizza in A-MAZE! when enjoyed immediately following preparation. It also makes for a good super-fast school lunch the next day. The pricing is competitive and the selection is wide. I recommend Fairfield Pizza at Cos Cob to all pizza lovers.“
