“The Local Chamber of Commerce had their holiday party there last night and it was amazing. From the inital call to the day of, Kristin made everything so easy. The food, the decorations, and the staff were amazing. Highly recommend The Grill at Copper Hill in East Granby.“

“Today we got 3 meals from partners, brought them home and it appeared that the meals have been shaken to the point where the meals were inedible. We then contacted the manager of the store to see if we would either get our food refunded or we could get our food remade and the manager stated we didn’t get back to them in time??? Since when is there a time limit on a refund or meals being remade?? The manager refused to do either refund or remake our food and started giving me a very unprofessional attitude and was being very rude.“

“Friendly's is wonderful and this location has great food and service. Love their breakfast and of course their ice cream. The Avon location I have gone to since the 90s (when Blockbuster was next door) and am so glad this location is alive and well!“

“Great find. Stopped by for lunch on a recent Sunday. Lots of beers and ciders to choose from. Food was really good...we had a meatball sub and a Reuben roll (think calzone) and some of the best fries around. Very casual atmosphere and what looked like a nice patio. Service was friendly and relaxed. Lots of tvs for watching sports. Highly recommend and we look forward to visiting again.“

“We are lucky to have in this area several great ice cream shops. This is definitely one of them and it brings a little bit of history, out of this very shop the founding brothers of friendly's started their summer business of selling ice cream at " the summer house. " The brick structure that is the basis of the restaurant today was the historical summer house for friendly's. At that time congamond lakes was a huge summer destination for people in the area. The current owners keep that tradition alive year-round food, ice cream, and people are all great there. Stop in if you get a chance or if you're taking a ride up 202“

“I love their chili cheese dogs with onions! Always tasty so fresh. Great service. Buns are fresh and steamed. Dogs are made of beef, shredded cheddar cheese and chopped onions. I also tried there. White chocolate mocha shake & that too was delicious!“

“We love this Wayback , We travel a little bit to get here since we live in Massachusetts, but well worth the drive . The cheesyburgers are to die for . They have cheese curds, which you dont find at too many places . I also love there, ceaser salad with crisp chicken . “A solid four star breakfast for our anniversary. I got the Irish Benedict, my husband the conga-monster. We sat on the water and the view was beautiful, can't say anything for the interior of the restaurant as we were not seated there. We started with bloody Mary's, obviously which were good, but I've had better. I absolutely hate the paper straw but that's a personal preference. Our server was polite and attentive, but the service itself was incredibly slow, about 30 minutes before we got food. I will say, my breakfast was divine. Potatoes cooked and seasoned well, corned beef hash had a fantastic sear on it and I felt my poached eggs were cooked beautifully. Hollandaise was good, and appeared to not be made entirely from a box. Hubby was very satisfied with his breakfast as well. Prices were reasonable for what we got. I would love to come back in the fall to see the leaves and sit outdoors.“

“I like this place. We've been a few times over the years and it's always a solid choice. Food is really good and the ambiance is lively but not overwhelming. Bar area is great, but if you want some privacy or a corner to tuck away into, they have that as well. My Albacore Tuna Melt was really good, not overly mayo'd and the buttered and griddled wheat bread was fantastic. Fries were also very good. Great cocktail selection as well as a pretty solid beer list. Great place for a date night but also fun for groups.“

We were there on a Tuesday late afternoon, and it was dead. Not sure how busy it gets. Would be an amazing place to go on NFL Sundays or to watch March madness.“

“This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I ordered meatballs and a pepperoni pizza. The meatballs were very good. They were most and tender and had simmered in the sauce and had great flavor. The pizza was disappointing. The crust was slightly undercooked, and with every bite I took, the entire cheese on the slice came off. The young lady at the counter was very friendly and outgoing. On a scale from 0-10, I would rate this 7.5.“

“Absolutely bombb burgers with that tried & true authentic American taste. Quality materials/ingredients, cooked fresh on-spot upon ordering. Solid fries & shakes as well! - The only thing that would be awesome is if they slightly warmed by toasting/grilling their buns just briefly.. to get a very light crisp bite to them and full & through warm mouthfeel to pair with the burger.“

“This Five Guys is located in the Avon Walmart Plaza, so it's easy to get in at the light and there's plenty of parking. This particular location I had no issues with - it was clean, their soda machines were working, and my burger was hot with cheese gooeing everywhere. I love a Five Guys burger, they do the cheese so well! This seems to be a popular place for Doordash and UberEats orders - many pickups were made at the same time as my meal, which caused a noticable but NOT unreasonable delay. I only wish there was a little more non-booth seating.“
