“I truly enjoyed our dinner, conversation, and the atmosphere. On an evening out to celebrate my husband's birthday with friends and we had the most wonderful meal. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, elegant but extremely comfortable and inviting. The staff friendly and helpful as can be. And omg the food, mmmmmmmmazing. Everything looked amazing, I will tell you I specifically had risotto balls, torched wedge salad, ricotta gnocchi with braisedbeef short rib ragu, and chocolate mousse. I can't look at regular salad the same way ever again and everything else was just amazing on it's own, and as a whole evening experience. Please do yourself a favor and set aside some time to have a meal here.“

“I'm a regular customer of the storefront, but we had Saucy Mama's cater our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made. First off, they are some of the NICEST people I've ever met, Dawn worked with me patiently to figure out a menu that worked for our vast array of dietary restrictions and allergies without resorting to boring defaults. The presentation of all the cocktail hour trays were amazing....I have literally no photos because I was caught up in the moment, but will share the pro ones when they come in! It's the morning after and I've had texts from almost every guest raving about the vegan olive oil cake, or the meatballs, or the pasta dishes. Dawn and her team even helped clean up which was completely unnecessary but so appreciated! The food truck was completely self-sufficient in my off-grid venue, and they even brought a selection of take home containers for the leftovers. I have not a single negative thing to say, would absolutely use them again for any sort of event, and will still continue my regular pop-ins for my husband's favorite meatballs. Thank you thank you thank you!“

The males, are on the rude side....one time throwing steak knives across the table when we requested them to cut our steaks. Every time we dine here, I am so annoyed with the lighting. Fluorescent lighting in a fine dining establishment is the worst. Please...please ...please put in recessed lighting that can be dimmed to make for a romantic dining experience.“

“Our second time trying Verona and both times we were very happy with our food. Our first visit we got pizza to go and it was the best margarita pizza we’ve ever had. Tonight we dined in and had the most amazing meals. They were super busy today and were out of some items so we had to change our order but I am so glad we did. The penne ala vodka was the best I’ve ever had and my husband loved the lasagna. The server, Harmony, was so kind and attentive. Portion sizes were very generous and now I have lunch for tomorrow as well. We will definitely be back!“

Ordered a mini pizza, which at 10" was more than enough for 1. Fresh chicken, bacon and tomatoes, delicious tomato base, overall a very good pizza. I sat at one of the 3 barstools to eat a bit before I headed out, great spot to watch cars/people. Nice little place. Friendly staff.“

“On Saturday, August 16, 2025, my husband and I had the pleasure of eating a late lunch/early dinner at this wonderful restaurant. The service was pleasant and prompt, the decor was beautiful, and the food was delicious! Before our entrees, we split the potato skins appetizer. I really liked the crispy skin. (I don't usually eat all of the skin of potato skins, preferring the filling instead, but I ate all of mine from Zanto's!) The Shrimp Scampi Provençal was one of the best versions of shrimp scampi that I've ever had. My husband raved about his dish of Scallops Massimo. I don't know if we'll ever be in that area of CT again, but if we are, we'll go out of our way to eat at Zanto's. 5/5“

The pizza I had was absolutely delicious. 8.6 from me on the pepperoni. The Buffalo didn't do it for me, likely because I tried the Pepperoni first and in my mind nothing was going to compare.“

“Delicious pizza! I’ve ordered from here twice. Once for delivery for a move day, we got three large pizzas, a salad, and some soda/juice to feed 5 people. All were cooked well and delicious and there was even leftovers!
Most recently I got their small hot honey pepperoni pizza for 3 people and that fed us all, 2 slices each with leftovers (8 slices in the small). We picked that order up and it was quick and efficient. It’s not a sit down restaurant, I think that’s the bar next door. You just pick up and walk out! I’d recommend!“
