“I live in Hartford and i have had numerous pizza spots in West Harford, Hartford, Wethersfield and Manchester. This place beats them all and take a 30 minute to go get their pizza. The crust is fantastic and the pizza sauce is authentic which makes any topping very good. This place is a gem.“

“MY FAMILY BROUGHT ME TO DINNER FRIDAY 3/29 AND I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE SERVICE, TIMING OF FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE. I WAS A LITTLE DISSAPPOINTED IN THE SCALLOP ENTREE THAT STATED SEA SCALLOPS AND I RECEIVED 5 QUARTER SIZED SCALLOPS THAT SEEMED THIN FOR SEA SCALLOPS. I WAS A BIT UNDERWHELMED IN PORTION BUT COOKED PERFECT! A VERY NICE EXPERIENCE. WILL RETURN.“

“Last night was my first time at Portobello Restaurant and as a local HS Culinary teacher, this spot is INCREDIBLE. Although small, the atmosphere is cozy with top tier hospitality. And the food? SO flavorful and FRESH! My Chicken Alla Casa was everything I wanted and more! Looking forward to going back soon!“

“This place is a real gem! If I could rate it any higher, I would. The service is impeccable and the waiters/waitresses really know what they’re doing. All of the food is very well-seasoned, which is uncharacteristic of most American cuisine. The prices were great for food quality that can be compared to fine dining. The portions are also very generous.
I had a chocolate raspberry martini, and the bartender tailored it exactly to my liking. We also had the Calamari piccata, and it was delish. The paella is Portuguese style, and it was delectable and flavorful. It reminded us of our fond trip to Portugal. The baked stuffed sole was great too. The tortellini rose reminded me of a fine Italian restaurant I have been to in the past.
Wish we could have had dessert, but we were too stuffed! The specialty desserts are truly unique.“

“We had our family Christmas dinner catered by Tommy's Place!! It was the most delicious meal ever! We ordered stuffed shells, eggplant parmesan and spinach with mozzarella, pepperoni and eggplant strombolies! The strombolies were filled from top to bottom. To say they We were pleased would be an understatement! We are most certainly looking forward to having next year's dinner from Tommy's Place. And trying other food as well Thanks for an outstanding Christmas dinner!!!“

“Our second time trying Verona and both times we were very happy with our food. Our first visit we got pizza to go and it was the best margarita pizza we’ve ever had. Tonight we dined in and had the most amazing meals. They were super busy today and were out of some items so we had to change our order but I am so glad we did. The penne ala vodka was the best I’ve ever had and my husband loved the lasagna. The server, Harmony, was so kind and attentive. Portion sizes were very generous and now I have lunch for tomorrow as well. We will definitely be back!“

“I’ve now been to Casadoro three times, and this latest visit was hands-down the best yet! This place has quickly become one of my favorite spots for Italian-American comfort food with a fresh twist. Great happy hour.The new bean and garlic dip is an absolute standout—creamy, garlicky, and loaded with herb flavor. Paired with their warm, homemade bread. We also got the Bianca pizza with shallots. The sweet caramelized shallots combined with the creamy base and crispy crust made it incredibly tasty and unique. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Casadoro nails that cozy yet elevated vibe, and the food quality keeps impressing me more each time. Highly recommend for date nights, happy hour hangs, or just a delicious Italian meal. We’ll definitely be back soon—can’t wait to try more from the menu!“
