“Our reunion planning committee has been coming to Lakeside many times to plan for our reunion. The outside atmosphere has been perfect! Dardan was an excellent waiter and a lot of fun. His service was excellent and he was extremely polite. The food came out very quickly, too. We will definitely come back for food, drinks and fun.“

“My wife had the Prime Rib special and absolutely loved it. The portion was perfect and came with side salad as well as the potato and vegetables. I had wings and a garden salad and had half of both for lunch the next day. Prices for both meals was on point. We will definitely be back again soon.“

“We are a group of eight Women golfers that travel each week to play a different course in CT. Get the usual eye rolling looks from the men from parking lot, pro shop to the course and finally the bar. Some men are polite but they are few. Quarry Ridge staff went over the top to make our Tuesday golf experience relaxing and fun. Course was in good shape. Kevin in the pro shop attentive asking questions after our round to see if we had a good time and what were our thoughts about women’s golf. Poor Kevin got a earful I’m afraid. He was such a good sport! The chef came out and checked on our lunch. Talked about his menu. Very enthusiastic. It was a perfect day Tuesday Blue sky, cool temps, Great Golf and being with friends. “10/10 came from out of state for a quick bit to eat. This is the rigatoni chicken parm! Perfect amount of crispiness and the vodka sauce is to die for. The “bottom of the pit” mixed drink was ammmmazzzinnggg. Apple crisp for dessert is the perfect ending. Can’t forget about the Carolina gold dipping sauce for the sweet potato fries!! Best food ever! Wish I lived closer!!“

“if you like biscuits and gravy then you will LOVE it at Rise and Shine. I used to live down south and its not even close. Even in New Orleans I could not find a place that even comes close to how good Rise and Shine does the biscuits and gravy. They also have an amazing Irish Benedict. Actually everyone I have brought there has loved whatever they get. Some of the lunch/breakfast specials are very different and delicious.“

“I used to love this place!!! Haven't been in quite some time and after my experience I will not come back ever!!! There were 3 of us. 2 of us sat down at the bar first. The bald white guy nor the female working greeted us!!! In fact he just gave us an ugly stare, no greeting whatsoever!!! He then proceeded to throw 2 menus on the bar in front of us. When I asked for a 3rd menu, he pointed at one of the menus he had already laid down!!! I said there's 3 of us!!! He brought a third menu still not a word from him or the female bartender who kept walking by as welll. We sat for a few minutes, they both continued to act as if we weren't sitting there. Still no greeting.....be right with you....can I get you some drinks.....water anything. Finally, after about 15 minutes of sitting and continually being walked by and ignored, we walked out!!! At that point I didn't want this guy to serve me an ice cube!!! It took every thing in me not to let him have it. As a customer service supervisor.....the last thing I am going to tolerate is HORRIBLE SERVICE from anyone!!! I was totally disgusted with the service we received!!! Oh wait....we never got any service....just a bunch of frowns and ugly stares!!! FYI....I DID NOT TAP RECOMMEND!!!“
