“My husband and I love this place. It is a one person operation, not a place to go if your in a hurry. The food is great. The proprietor and the customers are friendly. You get a real homecooked breakfast. Great lunches and phenominol corned beef and cabbage in March.“

“Took a trip to DiFiore Ravioli shop in Ellington, CT. They make 15 varieties of homemade Ravioli, sauces, oils, amazing desserts, and more. We picked up the TENDERLOIN & BACON ravioli, and the SHRIMP & ROASTED GARLIC ravioli. They were out of the lobster ravioli, but we picked up the homemade Tiramasu. While there we saw they made gourmet sandwiches, which we ordered and ate outside. They were amazing, so big, we could only eat half (pics taken after we started) Great place, staff were fantastic!! Very nice people. We will definitely return!!!“

“Stopped by with a colleague from work and few friends for a tea stop. So many delicious varieties of tea, nice teacups, delicious scones and yummy sandwiches. Everyone was so impressed, it’s a lovely day to always remember and guess what I will be there for a father and daughter special treat. “Cookies are always good here, albeit a little pricey. Unfortunately, they can't GIVE you a receipt...it has to be texted or emailed, which is rather inconvenient. But at least they didn't add a tip onto my credit card, like they did at the Crumbl Cookie location in New York City (Chelsea) yesterday! And I had to remind him that I paid for
a Chocolate Milk with my order, too, which he forgot.“

“first time there, great selection of beer, great prices and fun atmosphere. Only thing I would suggest is put regular croutons on the Caesar salad and not the pretzel ends, they were very hard and seemed stale.“

“Stopped here on my way from Mass to Bradley (because to hell with expensive airport food, and I like to support local) to grab lunch, and I was not disappointed. Ordered a mini pizza, which at 10" was more than enough for 1. Fresh chicken, bacon and tomatoes, delicious tomato base, overall a very good pizza. I sat at one of the 3 barstools to eat a bit before I headed out, great spot to watch cars/people. Nice little place. Friendly staff.“

“We were in CT from SC for a wedding! We went in on Saturday to watch South Carolina Gamecocks football game. The manager and Kasha were awesome! The manager put the game on two of the big TVs in the bar area so that all of us from SC could watch. They were so attentive kind and supportive of the Gamecocks even though we lost. The manager don’t know his name sorry, and Kasha were amazingly kind! We went back Sunday morning for brunch. Food and service were spot on!!! I don’t know that I’ll ever make back to Connecticut, but I highly recommend going to red heat Tavern if you are in that area! Come to SC Red Heat Tavern!!! On the pricey side given what you're getting and it'll definitely take a while to get on a weekend because of the crowd. Staff seems burnt out for sure and we've had some missing/wrong food. The portions were huge—definitely family-style! Honestly, one plate would have been enough for both of us, and we still had plenty of leftovers to enjoy at home. The restaurant itself has a beautiful setting with an industrial hipster vibe, warm lighting, and a fun flare that makes the atmosphere really inviting. “Had my son’s 21st Birthday party. Spent the whole day cooking. I am so glad I had Cocktails and the Carriage there to take care of the bartending. It’s usually my job as well. It took a huge burden off of my shoulders. The drinks were fantastic and the bartender was unbelievable. I actually got to sit down and relax a bit which never happens. “As a local business owner that frequents Anthony's Restaurant, I've yet to have a less than great experience. Many locals truly appreciate the quality the owner puts into his authentic dishes. The pizza is always great, with generous toppings, the meatballs are homemade and flavorful, the sauce is also taseful and the dishes are plentiful! The owner has been in the business for decades and truly cares deeply about thir customers experiences and is very friendly. This restaurant includes a family effort, they provide a clean and positive family experience and local business love their food as well. I know personally, because I provide gift cards on behalf of business relationships in the area & their always happy with their experiences. I recommend giving them another try - to those who had unfortunate past experience, they've got a better crew than they once had. Keep in mind it's been profoundly challenging these past few years on small businesses & good help dosen't come easy.“

“Only complaints about this place are there's not a lot of parking spots, and this store tends to run out of things faster than other stores in the area. Multiple times when I've gone on the app to order a particular sandwich or syrup flavor it's out of stock so I go to a different location. My point is, maybe it's popular enough that it should be stocked more? That's a good thing.“

“We came at 4:00 on a Saturday for dinner thinking we’d be early abd it wouldn’t be crowded. WRONG! Place was packed but we got last 2 seats at bar (our preference). Within a few minutes there was a wait for tables….at 4:30! I had a full rack of ribs and my wife had the Porterhouse steak. Both were excellent but both slightly undercooked. She ordered medium and got medium rare to rare. My ribs had some pink and shouldn’t! We started with Wild West shrimp which is always excellent and a huge portion. After the shrimp, bread and our salads we were starting to fill up. I took 1/2 rack home as well as a good portion of her steak. Once microwaved the next day they were fully cooked and better! Service at the bar is always good and Marcus was amazing! Polite, respectful yet energetic and efficient. We had a very good meal overall!“

“I work over by the mall so I often stop in here before my shifts. I place mobile orders and they’re always ready by the time I come in. But if they’re out of something then I interact with the staff, and that’s why I’m leaving this review. ALL STAFF are fast to help me, they’re ALL friendly, and energetic when im half awake and half coherent. Even though I live in Hartford, this is my new go to Dunkin for whenever I need a boost of energy before work. Going here is the best part of my morning, lol. I’ll never have to worry about running late to work because everything here is so in and out and that’s what keeps me coming back.
