“My husband and I love this place. It is a one person operation, not a place to go if your in a hurry. The food is great. The proprietor and the customers are friendly. You get a real homecooked breakfast. Great lunches and phenominol corned beef and cabbage in March.“

“Took a trip to DiFiore Ravioli shop in Ellington, CT. They make 15 varieties of homemade Ravioli, sauces, oils, amazing desserts, and more. We picked up the TENDERLOIN & BACON ravioli, and the SHRIMP & ROASTED GARLIC ravioli. They were out of the lobster ravioli, but we picked up the homemade Tiramasu. While there we saw they made gourmet sandwiches, which we ordered and ate outside. They were amazing, so big, we could only eat half (pics taken after we started) Great place, staff were fantastic!! Very nice people. We will definitely return!!!“

But the most amazing thing was I saw an employee stop what he was doing to bring an elderly dog back to his neighbor! It’s the little things for me. “We were in CT from SC for a wedding! We went in on Saturday to watch South Carolina Gamecocks football game. The manager and Kasha were awesome! The manager put the game on two of the big TVs in the bar area so that all of us from SC could watch. They were so attentive kind and supportive of the Gamecocks even though we lost. The manager don’t know his name sorry, and Kasha were amazingly kind! We went back Sunday morning for brunch. Food and service were spot on!!! I don’t know that I’ll ever make back to Connecticut, but I highly recommend going to red heat Tavern if you are in that area! Come to SC Red Heat Tavern!!! “Stopped here on my way from Mass to Bradley (because to hell with expensive airport food, and I like to support local) to grab lunch, and I was not disappointed. Ordered a mini pizza, which at 10" was more than enough for 1. Fresh chicken, bacon and tomatoes, delicious tomato base, overall a very good pizza. I sat at one of the 3 barstools to eat a bit before I headed out, great spot to watch cars/people. Nice little place. Friendly staff.“

“I’ve been going to 2nd Bridge for a few years now and it’s my favorite spot in central CT by far. Not only are the beers delicious, but it’s truly a “Cheers” environment where everyone not only knows your name but also every story you’ve shared before. I highly recommend this pub to anyone who wants a cozy spot that has excellent libations and the finest array of football around.“

“Was craving sushi and Higashi delivered some delicious sushi. I ordered the cucumber roll and red dragon roll, fantastic. Miso soup and peppered steak was also good. To top it all off with dessert, the cheesecake was delicious also. Would have taken pics, but I was hungry. Spent about $50 even just for myself. Definitely recommend“

“We had such a wonderful experience at Joey’s Garlic! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the penne a la vodka, shrimp scampi, and fried calamari, and every dish was full of flavor. The portions were huge—definitely family-style! Honestly, one plate would have been enough for both of us, and we still had plenty of leftovers to enjoy at home. The restaurant itself has a beautiful setting with an industrial hipster vibe, warm lighting, and a fun flare that makes the atmosphere really inviting. Service was excellent—our server was both fast and friendly, which made the evening even better. For the quality and size of the portions, the pricing was amazing and very affordable. We truly felt like we got more than our money’s worth. We’re already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu next time!“

“Had my son’s 21st Birthday party. Spent the whole day cooking. I am so glad I had Cocktails and the Carriage there to take care of the bartending. It’s usually my job as well. It took a huge burden off of my shoulders. The drinks were fantastic and the bartender was unbelievable. I actually got to sit down and relax a bit which never happens. I highly recommend them for any function.“

“As a local business owner that frequents Anthony's Restaurant, I've yet to have a less than great experience. Many locals truly appreciate the quality the owner puts into his authentic dishes. The pizza is always great, with generous toppings, the meatballs are homemade and flavorful, the sauce is also taseful and the dishes are plentiful! The owner has been in the business for decades and truly cares deeply about thir customers experiences and is very friendly. This restaurant includes a family effort, they provide a clean and positive family experience and local business love their food as well. I know personally, because I provide gift cards on behalf of business relationships in the area & their always happy with their experiences. I recommend giving them another try - to those who had unfortunate past experience, they've got a better crew than they once had. Keep in mind it's been profoundly challenging these past few years on small businesses & good help dosen't come easy.“

Jazzmalie brought our order to us in the drive thru line, read through our entire order to make sure they got everything, gave us wet wipes (so thoughtful!), and even grabbed some extra salt packets for us when we asked. But when I was late picking up my order, they called me and informed me that there was not a parking space for pick up and to call them when I got there. “There are car cruise events happening throughout the week throughout the warmer months. Cruisers hang out Sunday mornings for Cars & Coffee events and then on Monday nights are car themed nights. There's also open Cruise Night events on Thursday nights when every car is welcome to show up.“
